    Timing/Testing/CS: hoping for better timing than the last month. 

    How are things going? Any questions?: I’m leaving for another trip this week with my friend. I get back Friday and we me and DH will be leaving Saturday for another trip to visit his family. Finding a time for us to BD is going to be tricky. Of course my window will be that week we travel up there. I told him we will just have to get creative and be quiet. 

    R/R: I have a backpacking trip coming up next month. I never thought I would still be trying and not already pregnant so I assumed I wouldn’t be able to make it. Now it would be a few days after testing, or if I ovulate late, when I should be testing. I will be carrying a 40lb pack if I go. I’m hesitant if I am successful this cycle. So I guess my plans will be up in the air until the very last minute. It’s a 2 night, 3 days trip in the back country. So not necessarily something I want to miss but if I’m successful I don’t want to take any chances and ruin the pregnancy.

    @emeraldcity603 You should definitely go on your trip! Early in pregnancy, you can keep up normal physical activities. Hiking and carrying heavy things won’t threaten the pregnancy.

    @britters314 I have a history of SCH. I get more than one usually and they grow easily and heal most of the time. TW…..I had a second tri loss with my first one and now I’m just extremely cautious during early pregnancy so they don’t get super big before I can get in for an US to confirm I have one.

    How are things going? Any questions?: Just waiting on my doctor to approve our latest match. I might reach out today and see if they can give me any updates. I’m definitely getting antsy, especially since I know we already have one approved embryo and I just want to get going with a transfer ASAP

    R/R: This heat wave has been awful. I don’t do well with humidity. I always feel like it’s hard to breathe in high humidity, so I’m glad it’s going to be cooling down in the next few days.

    @britters314 The humidity will keep me indoors. It makes me feel nasty. I grew up in the south and always h the ought I hated being outdoors. Nope, I just hate the sticky, wet heat. I don’t think I couldn’t survive the south in the summer after living in AK for 6 years. I think my fat is mostly brown fat now and I would probably vomit from overheating. Give me the Alaskan range any day. Dry heat with crisp cold breezes coming off of the glaciers. 

    If I ovulate late like I did last cycle I may not be testing until I’m in the middle of my backpacking trip and if that’s the case I will probably go and just not test until I get home. 

    Hopefully when you call about the embryo they will have an answer. I would be anxious to transfer too.

    @emeraldcity603 Hopefully you ovulate later then, so you can go on your trip!

    No update yet on our embryo. I left a message yesterday and haven’t heard back yet

    Update: The embryo was approved! They still need to send the documentation over to the agency, but then we’ll be able to move on to the next step!

    I just finished my period and I’m experiencing EWCM. Way more than what I got last cycle all together. It makes me wonder if I failed to ovulate and the progesterone gave me a fake LP. This would be a ridiculously early ovulation for me. I guess time will tell. If I ovulate sooner rather than later maybe I didn’t ovulate last cycle. I have never ovulated before CD14.

    WAYDTGKU (BD/TI/IVF/FET/Benched/etc.): BD but kind of TTA/NTNP because I am waiting for a colposcopy at end of July

    WTO/TWW: I think I'm in the TWW now - I stopped using Inito for a bit because A) it got annoying and B) my doctor never heard of it and sort of "poo-poo"ed it. 

    Timing/Testing/CS: I haven't been testing really. Throwing caution to the wind a bit until the end of July, and then we have a family vacation in the middle of August. So now I've taken on a "whatever happens, happens" approach until the end of the summer.

    How are things going? Any questions?: Not really.

    R/R: I'm on vacation from work until after the 4th and our community pool opens this weekend. (We have 2 pools - one has been open since Memorial Day, but this one opening is literally outside our building so it's our preferred). AND it looks like it's going to be a pool weekend after it has been raining literally every weekend this season.
