Is Skin Pigment Change Common in the Second Trimester?

Hello everyone! I am in the second trimester of pregnancy. I recently noticed that my skin pigment color was changing; I went to gynae hospital with my husband. My doctor told me it's common during the second trimester and took a part of the pigment for biopsy. I hope everything is normal. Did anyone experience the skin pigment change during the pregnancy?

Yes it typically goes back to normal a little after the birth

Hey! Thank you for your reply. The doctor at the gynae hospital told me the same thing. She has assured me that it will come back to normal after the delivery.
