  How are you feeling?: my nausea has been really bad, tbh. Many moons ago, a friend told me that morning sickness is like being hungover without having done the drinking, and I'm really feeling that definition. I had a couple of vomits, but each time it was because I had taken vitamins on an empty stomach. The kicker is that I've developed low-grade anemia, for which I need to take iron on an empty stomach. I had pelvic floor PT today, so talked to my therapist about it and she recommended having a fatty drink with the iron in oder to help line the stomach while also having it empty. Gonna try that tomorrow. 

  
  

  Rants/Raves: I found an NIPT Natera thread on r/BabyBumps which has people reporting how quickly they get their results. Looks like it's taking between 5-7 calendar days for the standard NIPT. I also got the expanded single gene test (Vistara) and that'll take longer. 

  
  

  Questions: I'm formulating questions to ask my OB next week, and top of the list is: "if this baby is measuring big, can I have an elective C-section?" I am pretty salty that we had 0 discussions about baby being big last time, despite evidence that he was going to be, and I had a pretty terrible postpartum recovery as a result. So, I guess my question is: has anyone here had a planned C-section before? 

  
  

  GTKY: Any vacation plans for the summer? We just spent 2 weeks in Hawaii with my sister and her family, and now they're with us in CA until the end of month. I will be family-ied out after that, and will need some peace and quiet. I do have a solo trip to Seattle planned for a few days in early July, and also a friend's low key, nature-themed (i.e. not wild party) bachelorette later in July.

  @acleverusername I have had both an emergency C-section (after  a 40 hour labor) and a planned C-section. I will likely have another planned C-section this time. The recovery was much easier when it was planned.
