𝗙𝗧𝗠/𝗦𝗧𝗠/𝗧𝗧𝗠+/𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱: Fourth and final! All slots are full.

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: I still think pink, but will let you know!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Very swollen. I think I can feel my belly button stretching beyond recognition.

The weather has helped with my mood, energy, and being active, which is a very welcome change.

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: Rave: see above about nice weather, more energy, and getting in my movement. Rant: see belly button and swelling.

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Anyone else getting induced? I finally scheduled it and mostly feel good about it. It’s not my first choice, but it sounds like there are some real risks and concerns about going into labor with our current proximity to the hospital and my history of “precipitous” labors. Anyone else in the precipitous labor boat?

𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: If you could meet your past self, what’s one thing you’d share?

goodness. So many thoughts. Steer clear of that situation. Don’t buy the home high-lightening kit. Sunscreen! Water! Work on figuring out what you want and need and how to vocalize it way sooner. Take up space, don’t think you always have to be easy and light for others. And most of all, no matter what anyone tries to tell you, your jokes are as funny as you think they are. 😜

July 1st 5am!!! I’ll be thinking of you!! Wow it’s so soon 🥹🥹🥹

I think I’m turning 36w this week. One month from today is my estimated due date. Things are going ok. Sometimes I get blood sugar spikes but overall i think it’s decently controlled. Nervous for having a baby and becoming a parent. Not prepared lol. Trying to decide if I should get a special summer maternity robe to bring with me bc my normal robe is too warm and fuzzy for summer, or if I should just skip it and save $. Lol! I’m so so happy and grateful for warm weather. Also I didn’t think we would have a baby shower but friends made us a beautiful baby shower and that was really touching. So many tiny clothes and stuffed animals, need to make room for them, but so sweet to celebrate with friends.

@routtymama definitely being induced (unless I happen to go into labor before!). At this point hoping for around 39 weeks (so likely 7/10 or 7/11) but basically could be literally any time depending on my weekly BPPs/NSTs and next growth check on 6/23.

@watermelonsunshine A friend of mine gifted me a lightweight robe when I gave birth to my son and I’m so happy I had it at the hospital! It was one of those little things that made me feel comfy, especially in the sterile environment of a hospital.

@routtymama So happy to see your post! I’ve been thinking of you. I’m wishing you so much luck with your induction. 5am is so freaking early though!! They had me come in at 7:30pm for my son’s induction - so I had the whole day to stress out lol! SO eager to find out if you have a girl or not!!

@watermelonsunshine I’m so glad to hear how you are doing! I’m so glad you got to celebrate the baby with some friends and that they did a great job of loving on you all. (Aren’t the tiny clothes wild? It’s crazy to think a person could be so small.) Don’t worry about not feeling prepared/ready. It’s my fourth time and I still feel the same way! I call it the “hard reset.” 😜 I have no doubt that you will be an amazing mama. You are already doing an amazing job taking the GD curveball in stride and managing it. That is no small task! You’re doing awesome! And, I agree with the others- get the summer robe! It’s a small treat that will keep giving. I have a light one from target and it’s so nice in the summer.

@butterflyhunny How are your weekly checks and scans going? Sounds like your induction date will be coming up fast, too! How are you feeling about it all?

@bigworldlittleg Thanks for the kind thoughts! I know, 5am - what the what?! Though, 7:30pm sounds like a hard day just waiting to go in! They asked me if I wanted morning, afternoon, or evening. I said morning thinking it would be 8 or 9, but nope. They like to start early there. 🙃 We also have a 45 minute drive, so will be a very early morning. I keep thinking we might not make it to the 1st, but the doctor has assured me that babies don’t usually come earlier it’s just my geriatric body feeling things earlier. So uplifting to be a geriatric mom. 😜

I remember you having some pre-e concerns a few weeks ago. How is that going? In the clear or still monitoring?

@routtymama they are going ok! She is still measuring small but otherwise everything always looks good. When we induce is most likely dependent on my next growth scan at 36 weeks - if her growth percentile has dropped, it'll probably be right away, but if she maintains or has made even better gains, it'll be sometime between 37-39. It's a little stressful not knowing when it's going to be go time, but I'm trying to keep in mind that women go into labor unexpectedly all the time so maybe it's not that different than that!

I’m glad that everything is looking good! I will be thinking of you on the 23rd and hoping she is doing great and can stay in a little longer. It is weird to feel like things could shift on a dime and probably even crazier when it could happen so much earlier than you plan/expect. Such a huge thing to have so little control over. I know either way, though, you’ll take it in stride and it will all work out. 💛

@routtymama In the clear for now! But having weekly fluid checks and NSTs to keep an eye on things. C-section is officially scheduled for 7/9 so just a few more weeks to go! 🙌 😬

@bigworldlittleg I’m glad to hear you are in the clear! What a relief! And also glad they are tracking it, just in case. I’ve been so swollen this time around that I am always so relieved when they do all the pre-e checks when I go in.

july 9th! That’s soo soon! 💕

@routtymama you are so sweet to check in! It went as well as it could have 😊 she's still under the 10th percentile but didn't drop in growth at least. The MFM recommended inducing at 38 or 39 weeks, so we'll see what my OB wants to do with that info tomorrow!

I’m one week out from my induction and it feels surreal. I’m excited to meet this little one (and end this lonnng season of pregnancy) and also feeling anxious about being back in the delivery room. 🙃

@routtymama I'm officially scheduled for induction for next week now too (also at 5am - must be some magic to that time lol ugh).

Definitely a mix of feelings about it, would be nice to just go into labor naturally but I understand the why of it all. I am a little nervous that it'll turn into a c-section because she's not really ready to come out yet, but from what I hear even that's not all that bad. Best of luck to us both next week!!

@butterflyhunny What is up with the 5am start time?! 🙃😜 It is a weird place to be (wanting for it to happen naturally and also needing to balance the best of outcomes for everyone.) I still feel pretty mixed about being induced even though I know that it sets us both up best. I’ll be thinking of you next week! It’s nice that we can be in it together!

@watermelonsunshine It is so surreal! I feel like the time is dragging and also moving at hyper speed. It seems like that’s how this whole pregnancy has felt, slow and so fast! It’s wild to think I’ll get to meet this little person in a few days!
