  How are you feeling?: 
  I tend to get dizzy a lot. Otherwise, I'm feeling pretty good right now.

  Rants/Raves: 
  I gained 40 lbs with my first and only lost 30 lbs in the past two years. I'm terrified of gaining that amount of weight again and want to find healthy foods, but it's so hard working a full-time job, caring for a toddler, and having the time to cook healthy meals. I'm disappointed with myself for not losing the weight previously, and I'm already struggling to not eat everything. I only gained 5 lbs in the first trimester last time and most of the weight came in the third trimester, so I'd love to not gain even more in the first trimester this time.

  What are your favorite fast, healthy meals?

  GTKY: Any plans for Memorial Day weekend?
  We are taking my 2-year old to the Butterfly Pavilion with some friends.

  @kbmt I made quinoa in chicken broth the other day, and it's been hitting the spot. Maybe try that for the quick / healthy meal? Else, hard boiled eggs are also going down well over here.

  EDD / Weeks + Days: 6w5d, but today we discussed an induction at 38 weeks with my fertility doc due to my first born being 10.5lbs and me being 42 when this baby comes, so we're gonna aim for a Jan 1 baby. 🥂🍾

  Upcoming Appointments: Just had one today; viability scan at my fertility doc (who is indirectly responsible for both of our spontaneous pregnancies). GS / YS / CRL measured on track (GS about 1 week ahead) and FHR was 113 which is on the lower end of the range, but in range still! But of course I've been freaking out about that. 

  
  

  How are you feeling?: argh, the nausea is definitely picking up so I'm having to eat more frequently to keep it in check. Also sore boobs galore over here. I went for a massage yesterday and initially declined the pregnancy pad saying "it's too early", but then 30 min in I remember the pregnancy pad has cut-outs for boobs as well, so I asked for it. 

  
  

  Rants/Raves: Just so relieved to have made past the viability scan; my anxiety has been so high. Next week we're meeting up with my sis and her fam in Hawaii and I've been so apprehensive about sharing the news of this pregnancy before genetics testing is complete. However, today's milestone is leaving me more reassured; and hopefully after my next week's scan at 7w3d, I will feel even more comfortable.

  GTKY: Any plans for Memorial Day weekend? Hubs is studying for a couple of interviews next week, so we've decided to bring in reinforcements in the form of babysitter since I've been feeling particularly crummy in the mornings. As for the afternoons, we will adventure to the local state park to throw pebbles into the ocean and marvel at hermit crabs. Oooh, and I'm going to a sound bath on Sunday evening.

  How are you feeling?: The nausea is definitely ramping up and seems to be worse at night than in the morning, weirdly. Also very sore boobs that seem to have gained a cup size already. I’ve had some mood swings too but those seem less intense this week. 

  
  

  Rants/Raves: I bought myself a very cheap new bra on Amazon because my boobs have been hurting so much and not fitting in my normal bras. I told myself I probably didn’t need it yet, but omg best $$ spent.

  We’re mostly just staying in. Dodging friends who wanted to go to a beer festival this weekend and wondering how long we can get away with not telling them lol
