1st Trimester

I want to lose weight

Before I found out I was pregnant I was beginning my weight loss journey, my mom is having a wedding in august. I am 240 odd some pounds. Possibly less. I know doctors always tell you, you can do what you were doing before you got pregnant. But what about stuff your body isn’t use to doing??

It's fine if you take it slow. Just do a little more each day and stop if your body is telling you to!

  • I gained 18lbs with my last baby specifically because I wanted to continue with my weight loss journey. I had plenty of weight to support the pregnancy so I wasn’t worried.

You’re right—doctors usually say you can continue what you were doing before, but it’s smart to be cautious with anything new. If your body isn’t used to certain workouts or intense routines, it’s best to start slow and gentle—like walking, light prenatal yoga, or swimming. Always check with your OB first, especially if you’re starting something new. Staying active in a safe way can actually help with energy and mood during pregnancy! Also, for those managing gestational diabetes or pre-existing type 2, tools like Ozempic can really help. I was able to buy ozempic online through a trusted pharmacy, which made access much easier. Just be sure to discuss any meds or supplements with your doctor first.

Lol I feel u Stephanie. When my sis was preg she went full anti-meat mode too around 30 weeks. She just did more beans, eggs, stuff like that. Doc said it was cool as long as iron was good. Kinda normal preg vibes I guess. U can check at Pharmacy B2B for nutrition tips, not commercial but some solid info.
