Hi everyone!
We’re expecting our second baby and are looking for a name that pairs well with our daughter’s name, Isabel Rose. We’ve narrowed it down to two options but are torn between them! Here are the combinations we’re considering:
- Josephine Lily
- Juliet Lily
Here’s what we like about each:
- Isabel Rose has Hebrew biblical roots (Isabel comes from Elizabeth, meaning "God is my oath"), which we love for its timeless elegance. Her nickname is Izzy.
- Josephine also has Hebrew origins (from Joseph, meaning "Jehovah increases"), and we love its strength and sophistication. We also like the nickname Sophie for it!
- Juliet feels romantic and lyrical, complementing Isabel beautifully. We’re not fans of Jules as a nickname but would consider Lia or Etta instead.
- Both middle names are floral (Lily), which ties the sibset together nicely with Isabel’s middle name (Rose).
We’d love your feedback on these questions:
- Which combination feels like the best match with Isabel Rose?
- Do you prefer the vintage charm of Josephine or the romantic elegance of Juliet?
- Any other middle names that might work better than Lily?
Thanks so much for your input—we really value your thoughts!
Re: Sibset Name with Isabel Rose
2. I think because Isabel has both elegance and strength, Josephine aligns better in spirit, with the vintage charm.
3. Josephine Violet, Josephine Daisy, Josephine Magnolia
If you still want to do Juliet
Juliet Ivy, Juliet Camellia, Juliet Fern
