How many weeks pregnant am I??

I’m due 9/28. I get emails from The Bump app on Sundays, which is when I read all the little updates (this week baby is developing this!) so I went into the weeks thinking I knew what week I was. However, I just noticed that the weeks at the top start on Mondays, so by the next day it already says the following week??

Example: this past Sunday I got a Week 15 email. Now it says Week 16 (15 weeks, 4 days pregnant). To add to the confusion, in the What to Expect App, it says I’m in Week 15. Even more confusing, my doctor’s office calls it differently too (Week 13 appointment when I was 13 weeks, 4 days although the app says Week 14).

It feels silly but when I realized the discrepancy I was really upset because I went into each week thinking I was experiencing that week when apparently I was not. My husband and I would read it all every Sunday morning and it was so special. Now I don’t even want to touch my pregnancy journal or answer how many weeks I am because I have no clue.

Someone please help me understand this.

I came looking for a discussion on this. I think there was a glitch because my app suddenly changed too. I should be 13 weeks 2 days but as of this morning it’s saying I’m in week 14, when my app only switched to week 13 this Wednesday.

I thought I was going crazy! Maybe the app changed but they should’ve notified of a change like that…

I haven’t experienced a glitch (yet) mine is accurate at 16+6 (due 9/20) with the week progressing every Saturday. I do check every day and haven’t notice any discrepancy. I can’t speak on the email part though, I opt out of emails.

Sorry you are having this issue! If you go from your LMP you should know what day of the week you change over. You can also go off that first ultrasound measurement because they are typically pretty accurate. So if your due date is estimated for 9/28 that’s a Sunday, so your weekly changeover day is Sunday!

We are due date twins! I’m sorry your app and office are confusing your dates! Mine for that due date says we are 16 weeks today, I assume the changeover happens on a Sunday because the due date is on a Sunday!
