Hello, I took a course of keflex for a uti probably around the time of conception before I knew I was pregnant. Anyone else go through something similar? Should I be worried?
hey, I wouldn't stress too much, lots of people have taken meds before they knew they were pregnant, but maybe check in with your doc just to be safe!
here's what the 'Heal Baby Care App' says....
"It's understandable to feel concerned about medication taken during early pregnancy. Keflex (cephalexin) is generally considered safe during pregnancy, as it is a category B drug, meaning no evidence of harm has been found in studies. However, it's always best to discuss any medications taken during conception with your healthcare provider for personalized advice. Have you had any specific symptoms or concerns since starting your pregnancy?"
