There are several that have been amping up the last couple weeks. They have been very severe the last few days. Nausea throughout the day, vomiting a few times a day, very weak feeling, extreme fatigue, heart racing/elevated heart rate, very sensitive to smells...
Night sickness is turning into all day sickness. I’m 9w today and the last 3-4 days have been so hard with the nausea. I’ve been starting to get “gaggy” at my day job. I also teach yoga. I have had off of teaching by coincidence but I teach tomorrow for the first time since finding out & experiencing symptoms so I’m super nervous about the gags. It’s only an hour class but still. Drinking lots of citrus water and only eating foods that I’m okay throwing back up. Nothing spicy as the heartburn is so real.
Nausea is at it’s worst so far. Throwing up every evening around dinner time. Some days heartburn is pretty bad. It’s been difficult to find foods that sound appetizing. Can’t stand going in my kitchen and cooking is just not happening right now.
8 weeks. Still extremely nauseous. All day everyday. I gag a lot. I can smell everything. My hair is falling out like crazy, and I get chills all the time. Basically miserable. With first (boy) it lasted to around 14 or 16 weeks. With my daughter it lasted to 20 weeks. Trying not to get my hopes up that it will be over soon.
I don't know how to function in the regular world with this nausea. I'm hibernating. If I HAVE to go out, I can't decide if gravol is okay to take. The ginger gravol does NOTHING.
Jumping in to share I’m also on the nausea train. I’m 8w4d and I’m on day 2 of Diclegis which seems to be helping (marginally, but still). Everything I read says it takes a few days to kick in so will report back after this week. Also having trouble figuring out what to eat. Can’t cook a single thing the thought is repulsive. So far surviving on oatmeal, eggo waffles, Lipton extra noodle soup and pb&j if that’s helpful to anyone!
I am so ungodly exhausted. I thought the fatigue was supposed to ease up a bit (10 weeks tomorrow) but I am just an absolute mess. I get home from work, do dinner and shower, and I barely have the energy for anything else. Yesterday, I literally went to bed before 7pm.
ohhh boy ohh boy… The nausea is real. I’ve been having nauseas since 8w … it got a way worse on my 11w (which I’m now). I threw up couple of times. Extremely fatigue… food aversion of everything lol. But baby is growing well and healthy… so I’ll take all this 😍
Anyone else with insomnia? Never had it first trimester with my first but the past couple weeks have been so tough. Can’t fall asleep until the wee hours even though I’m exhausted. If anything wakes me up can’t fall back asleep either.
I’m sure this is a normal thing but feeling discouraged. I dealt with awful nausea and vomiting from about week 6-9. Then things turned around for a week and I felt almost fully back to normal, could eat full meals, cook and get through the day without throwing up. Well that only lasted for a week and now I’m back to feeling like crap 😭 just praying every day this ends once I officially enter the 2nd trimester 🙏🏼
I really feel you. I hit Can't Keep Anything Down level morning sickness around week 8, and my B6 and ginger and everything you're supposed to do to help was not working at all. I had to start taking Zofran, and fortunately, I'm able to hydrate and keep most things down but I'm still pretty sick and can't eat anything flavorful.
I am feeling terrible. I really hope this passes soon.
11 weeks and I’ve started taking 1/2 tab unisom and 50mg b6 at bedtime per OB instructions. It takes the edge of the morning sickness during the day. It’s not completely but I feel at least a little more functional. Less random gagging.
Re: March - Monthly Symptoms Thread
I saw the OB this week and she recommended Pepcid instead of Tums so I don’t and up with kidney stones lol.
