Content warning: Spotting After Bowel Movements 6 Weeks

I am 6ish weeks today. At 5 weeks the same thing happened. 

Only sometimes when I have a bowel movement does this happen. I will pee and nothing is there, then I’ll push (kinda hard) to have a bowel movement, pee a little more and then wipe and some light pink blood will be on the toilet paper. This has only happened after bowel movements and it’s not every time. It’s only happened like twice. 

Has this happened to anyone?? Normal?? Trying to remain positive but I’m so scared.

    Hi, I just had this happen to me. Same story, it's been going on for 3 days. Is this common?

    Same thing just happened to me I’m 6 weeks today. I have my first ultrasound Monday. I’m so nervous.

    Do you have PCOs by chance? I do and this happens to me too and I think it’s the cyst becoming irritated. It happened before my pregnancy and has happened a couple of times since being pregnant. It’s certainly jarring to see but I’ve been told that you know without a doubt when you’re having a miscarriage so I try not to worry about it much.

    I bled for three weeks from week 4-7. I’m 11 weeks now and everything looks good. I’m still nervous but my doctor reassured me. Please call your doctor so they can rule out anything serious or treatable.

    Same here at 10 weeks and has been happening since 4 weeks. Apparently I have a cyst (didn’t have one before) and assumed that could be the issue although the NP said it wasn’t, and everything looked great on ultrasound. Will be talking to my OB next week to hopefully see what is causing it though knowing baby and everything else looks good. Hopefully it stops for you soon!
