Bleeding 4 weeks 6 days

Help! This is my 2nd pregnancy. I had no issues with my first. I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow and yesterday started light cramping and some bleeding. This morning when I got up I had a thick glob of blood. So far all blood is red in color. Still light cramping. I’m trying not to panic bc I know some women do bleed and go on to have normal pregnancies but since this didn’t happen the first time around I’m so nervous. It’s not light but not gushing and heavy, at least not yet. Has this happened to anyone and were you and baby okay? I have a Dr apt tomorrow to confirm pregnancy but I’m going to be calling them today to update on what’s going on.

    Anecdotal evidence doesn't mean much, unfortunately. It might sound reassuring (or not), but each person is unique with stuff like this. I just posted this in another thread, but there are plenty of women who never know they miscarried until they have an appointment and no heartbeat. And then I know a woman who soaked a full size bath towel with blood and still carried the baby to term. It all depends.

    Updates from Oct 2018???  She either has a very healthy almost 7 year old, or it's been dead a long time.  SMH.
