Had my first ultrasound today and was told the baby implanted very low. Has anyone experienced this and went on to have a successful pregnancy and delivery?
I had partial placenta previa with my first daughter, I remember being told that it was likely that as time progressed and my uterus expanded the placenta would move up and away from the cervix. It was identified around 22 weeks and had moved up enough to not be worried by 34 weeks.
I was put on 'pelvic rest' during this time, no difficult exercise, no sex. The risk was if my cervix opened with the placenta covering it, it could cause hemorrhaging. I remember reading that most cases clear as pregnancy progresses.
