Implantation bleeding?

edited February 28 in 1st Trimester
Hello so I just got my first BFP!! I’ve had fertility issues, gone to multiple clinics, had many medicated cycles and nothing. I decided to take a break from trying and got on birth control (pill) which makes me skip my periods completely!! I’ve been on and off from the last two years but have been taking it regularly the last 7 months. I usually have a very heavy, long(up to 2 weeks)painful periods, which is the reason I’m taking the pill in the first place but I started having very light spotting with light cramping from 2/3-2/5 while on the pill also I did have a bit stronger cramping a few days before and after the spotting but while spotting it was barely noticeable.. I did stop taking the pill on 2/3 so I could get my period thinking maybe my body was telling me I had to get it but I just got my positive today (2/26) would that have been considered implantation bleeding? And if so how far along should I be? Since I’m not able to determine without my last period. Thanks in advance <3

Re: Implantation bleeding?

  • There's not really a way to tell.  If your 2/3-2/5 period was implantation bleeding, that's not good news considering you were on the pill at that time.  And then you randomly stopped taking the pill in the middle of a cycle it sounds?  That's never a good idea, as it makes your cycle super wonky.  So, really all you can do is call your doctor, wait for your first ultrasound and see what it says.  That's about the only way you're going to be able to date that mess.
