If your username begins with “Knottie,” here’s how to change it!

If everyone’s username begins with Knottie, it’s tough to distinguish who is who and get to know each other. It’s also easier to tag each other when we have unique usernames. Here’s how to change your username.

From The Bump App:

1) Tap your profile icon in the top right corner of the app’s main page

2) Tap on the arrow next to your profile icon and username

3) Tap on the arrow next to the username field

4) Enter your preferred new username and tap Save. (Please be patient. You may need to try a couple of different options before you find an available username)

5) After your new username has been accepted and saved, log out of the app and back in again to ensure your full account (including Community) is updated with your changes

From a Web Browser:

1) Log into thebump.com

2) click on your profile icon in the top right corner

3) Tap on the arrow next to your profile icon and username

4) Scroll down to the “community username” field

5) Enter your preferred new username and then click on “Update” at the bottom of the page. (Please be patient. You may need to try a couple of different options before you find an available username)

6) After your new username has been accepted and saved, log out and back in again to ensure your full account (including Community) is updated with your changes

Coming off my comment in Weekly Randoms, if you're username starts with knottie, please take a look at this and change it to something unique so its easier to keep people straight and know who is who.
