February Symptoms

Second trimester ailments... :#

Re: February Symptoms

  • These last couple days I feel like I'm having to pee even more than usual - I tend to drink a lot and must have a tiny bladder anyway, but this is starting to feel like comically often! I feel like my bump is starting to come in, so maybe it's because things are on the move right now?

  • @butterflyhunny Same here! Things are starting to get crowded in there 😝
  • Glad it's not just me lol, I had read that was more common earlier or later than now but here we are lol.
I also feel like my sinuses are going crazy, not sure if that's a pregnancy thing, weather or just a me thing! I always have some sinus junk but this seems worse than normal.
  • Yup, the sinus congestion is very normal! I think it has to do with increased blood flow. I got frequent bloody noses during the second trimester with my son, so don’t be surprised if that happens! Things I never knew about until becoming pregnant 😝
  • @bigworldlittleg if you figured out anything that helped let me know! I've been doing saline spray and it feels like it minimally helps.
  • Anyone else have super sore ribs
as they’re expanding? And bruises on ribs area/under boobs? (Possibly stretch marks instead of bruises??)
  • @watermelonsunshine I have the bruises under my boobs! It freaked me out the first time I saw them so I ran to show my husband, but now we’ve just accepted it as a fact of life lol. Super weird and not something I was able to find anyone else mention.
  • @bigworldlittleg same with the sinus issue!! I got a humidifier and use breathe right strips at night. Big big help!!

@sonjanae the bruises are SO strange! Glad to know I’m not the only one 😅😅 I wish I had thought to ask about them at my last appt but it slipped my mind.
  • @emmaleekinsley ok I may have to try your methods because it's not really getting better for me with what I'm doing lol!
  • @emmaleekinsley Same. Breathe right strips, humidifier in the bedroom, and saline spray have saved me.

Also, first trimester symptoms will not go away. Still so nauseous and getting sick most mornings as well as sleeping ~12 hours a day. At least I have slightly more energy during the day once the nausea passes.
  • Anyone already having Braxton Hicks? Goodness. I feel like my stomach is so tight most nights. It’s not painful, just kind of uncomfortable at times.
  • @routtymama
I've been having indigestion issues (not Braxton Hicks) but I've been feeling similar, just a sore tummy at night especially and lots of gas. Not fun 😢
