𝗙𝗧𝗠/𝗦𝗧𝗠/𝗧𝗧𝗠+/𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱: STM, 2 year old son

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: We plan to find out with our NIPT at 10 weeks like we did with our son!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? 🤢🤢🤢 Oof. The nausea man. It was this way when I was pregnant with my son but I forgot how tough it is to be gagging and trying to avoid throwing up all day! For me it’s the food aversions that really get to me. Chicken, pork, and every single vegetable has me 🤢 right now. Luckily I’m not living on just pasta and bread yet (been there), so fingers crossed this is the worst it will get!! I’m also sleeping 10 hours a night when I can and going to sleep at the same time as our toddler!

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: We have a 9 month old nephew who our son is obsessed with! He is so gentle and good and shows so much love for his baby cousin, it warms are hearts and has us so excited because we know he’ll be an amazing big brother! 🥹

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Is anyone starting to show yet? I know it’s all bloating and that women typically show earlier in subsequent pregnancies, but already at 6 weeks??? My belly button already popped and is showing through my clothes!!! 😳 I’m actually struggling to hide my belly from friends and family and have to wear super loose shirts!! 😅

𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: What is your favorite music to listen to? My favorites are Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Ed Sheeran, and Colbie Caillat. But in this toddler mom stage of my life I have to say my go-tos right now are Disney songs and Raffi! My 2 year old and I could jam out singing and dancing to these all day long! 🥰

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: We're going to find out at birth :D

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? So, so tired. Resting a lot. Sleeping well, thank goodness. I can't believe how bloated I am. I opted to buy a couple of pairs of maternity jeans from Gap just to make me a little more comfortable and I am glad that I did.

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: My husband has been so amazing and helpful. It makes feeling crummy easier. He's reading everything he can get his hands on about being a new dad, he's cooking healthy food, and he's offering me water about 1000 times a day.

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: I've been wondering when folks find they're showing too!! I am visibly bloated, but I for sure am not showing yet. I have a climbing trip tentatively planned for around week 18 (with OB approval) and I wish I had a looking glass to know what my bump will be like by then.

𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: What is your favorite music to listen to?
My favorite artist is Big Wild, and my favorite songs are 'No Words,' '6s to 9s' and 'Curious.'

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Overall good, but got a big wave of fatigue today. Otherwise mild symptoms

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: I kept hearing amazing things about Needed’s powder prenatal, but the smell is absolutely nauseating. And not just because of pregnancy symptoms bc I was taking it while TTC. The smell/taste is just so overpowering and stong🤢

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: anyone else experiencing a bloody nose every time you blow your nose?

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: finding out, I think. Although, debating team green. My SO wants a girl sooo bad.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Feeling terrible 😂 I spoke too soon last week and said “you know I’m not feeling any morning sickness” and then all of a sudden, I spent the last several days fully laid out and miserably sick.

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: I’m a little annoyed that my OB isn’t doing an appointment until ten weeks… and it’s a virtual appointment. 😫

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? I feel good. Atm, my breasts are hurting, and I am constipated, although I generally eat a lot of fibre, wholegrain products and vegetables.

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: I found a midwife!! Yay! It was so discouraging, that the day after I found out I was pregnant, I wrote to midwives and received no positive feedback, only cancellations. It almost makes me wonder if many women contact midwives before they even get a positive result.

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Have you all already a midwife?

𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: What is your favorite music to listen to? : 70s all the way. But I also like the 40s/50s/60s

I got in contact with a midwife a few months ago just for a free consultation. She told me she could only officially book me once I became pregnant and had a due date so I reached out the day after I found out (at 3w4d). I’m glad I did it right away bc she told me her schedule was already filling up.

Also my due date is only one day after yours ❤️

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: seeing everyone say they’ve started showing, super anxious for this because I already hate how my clothes fit. Also haven’t told some family members yet, the whole being secretive thing is such a challenge even though I totally want to be out of the woods on possibility of a loss.

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: lack of sleep despite being so tired. I am also not able to nap which sucks. Any suggestions welcome!!!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Terrible. Morning sickness hits around 2-3am and I toss and turn all night. Today has been worst. I have restless leg syndrome and pain in my hip joints. Feels like I’m having an asthma attack. Cramping and headache as well. I’m really hoping this is the peak of morning sickness and it will get better.

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: very excited for our first ultrasound in two weeks. We will be 7 weeks, 3 days but hoping to see baby and heartbeat.

𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: anybody have any advice for first time momma? How do I deal with morning sickness and restless leg syndrome? What about nausea?

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Super nauseous all day, there is no real respite. All I want to do is lay down or nap. I forgot what a grind this first trimester is 😭 just heading into the statistical worst weeks too. Taking it a day at a time.

I love indie and folk with some pop mixed in. My faves are Christine and the Queens, Tennis and Tegan and Sara.
