Hello, people! All I have is now intrusive thoughts. I worry all the time about my baby’s health and development etc. The things i used to do reduce my OCD even don’t help now. Please share your similar experience and how to manage it.
I'd recommend therapy. If you are having intrusive thoughts to the point that it is affecting your health and/or daily life activities, you really should seek professional help. Especially if your previous management techniques are not helping you!
hey, i totally get that, it can be super tough, but just know you're not alone in feeling this way... maybe try talking to someone about it, like a friend or a therapist?
here's what the 'Heal Baby Care App' says....
"It's understandable to feel overwhelmed with intrusive thoughts, especially regarding your baby's health and development. Many parents experience similar worries, and it can be challenging when usual coping strategies don't seem to work. Consider practicing mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing or meditation, to help ground yourself in the present moment. Additionally, setting aside specific times to address your worries can help contain them rather than letting them dominate your thoughts throughout the day.
Have you tried any specific relaxation techniques or support groups for parents?"
