February 2025 Babies

Labor Signs?!

Okay February mama’s, I’m a first timer here & have been feeling DIFFERENT the last 3 days. Tons of cramps, tightening, sharp pelvic pressure that makes me have to stop walking.
Baby girl was estimated to weigh 7lbs 7oz as of her ultrasound on Thursday but due date isn’t until the 19th.

What are y’all experiencing? Those of you have done this before, please tell me I won’t feel this way for weeks!

Re: Labor Signs?!

  • We have the same due date! I’m no help as I’m also a FTM, but I am experiencing the exact same symptoms. I Google daily “difference between Braxton Hicks and actual labor contractions”. I think it’s Braxton Hicks?

  • Also a FTM, same exact due date, and same exact symptoms! Either of you deliver yet? I can’t imagine feeling like this another three weeks 😅😂
  • Just started getting these this week and due date is the 11th. I still think baby hasn't "dropped" yet so could be awhile longer. FTM as well.
  • Happy Birth Month!! Baby is still in there and making her presence known. It is wild that we could just go into labor at any minute. This hip pain and insomnia…I am ready.
  • Hang in there ladies! It’s comforting knowing we are all experiencing similar things. We are convinced she is coming this week due to the amount of tightening and low back pain, but - who really knows!

    Everyone stay updated 🙂
  • me as well,FTM and due is on 13th,but feeling nothing🙄except that pelvic pressure before peeing and mild period like cramps once in a while, now don’t even know how contractions feel like with this milder symptoms 🧐
  • Hope you’re all doing well still! I’m a second time mom and due the 22nd. With my first I didn’t feel crampy but man those pelvic nerve pains when baby got lower were so real! I am getting the same this time around. I think that doing pregnancy yoga and kegel exercises helps some but unfortunately it doesn’t go away until baby’s out.

For me, Braxton Hicks have been an all-over general tightening, while the labor contractions felt lower down and crampier to start off with. I used The Bump contraction timer to see if they were regular and they were 5-7 minutes apart when I went into early labor. They slowly got stronger throughout the day. I will say, when it was my first I was SO pumped and did everything to move labor along, and it took 22 hours and I was exhausted! This time I am going to get as much rest as I can and trust that baby will come out when he or she is ready.
  • I’m a 4th time mom and I have the same due date as you. Baby definitely dropped this week and I feel the pressure of baby down low but no real signs of labor yet. I haven’t had any of my babies on or before my due date so I don’t really expect this one to be any different although I suppose it could be. Hang in there the end can be so hard but just know, baby is still in there developing and when all is well, baby will make their debut!
  • Baby girl is here! & yes, the symptoms I initially noted were Braxton hicks now that I have experienced some real contractions. The biggest difference for me is experiencing the rise and fall of a real contraction + the relief when it ends. Compared to what I was feeling before I was not easily able to identify the end & relief was not needed.

    Best of luck everyone!!
  • Congrats!!! Now the real adventure starts 😂💕
