Accidentally took boric acid

Hi everyone!

I’m new to the group. However, I did make my introduction and I look forward to going on this journey with all of you.

A few days ago I took a boric acid suppository and I later read that it can help toxic to the fetus. I’ve scoured the internet looking for hope that my baby will be alright since I am still really early (only 6 weeks).
Has anyone taken/used boric acid while pregnant or this early in pregnancy and their been okay?
This is my first pregnancy and I feel like an idiot for not knowing that this could harm my baby.

I would probably contact an OB office and see what the recommended/if they want you to come in to check on things.

@knottie1f603ee49c489d2a There are so many random new rules to get used to, you are not an idiot, and I am sure your OB will have encountered this with a patient before. Sending positive thoughts your way!
