GTKY: Any plans for Valentine’s Day?

What number are you trying for? Trying for 3rd kid, but 2nd pregnancy (2 adopted kids, 1 loss)

Month/Cycle? Stopped counting

WTO/TWW? WTO

Ages of other child(ren)? 7.5 and 6

Any thoughts about this cycle? We probably won’t have success until we do another embryo transfer, so not hopeful for this cycle

Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? We are supposed to get a small snow storm on Wednesday (3-5 inches) and the kids are going to be so happy to finally have snow to play in. We’ve really only gotten dustings of snow so far this winter.

GTKY: Any plans for Valentine’s Day?
We’ve been really busy for the past few weekends, so we are just going to order food and watch a movie at home probably

What number are you trying for? 2 (would be 3rd pregnancy - 1 full term, 1 CP)

Month/Cycle? We were NTNP for a few cycles but this is our first intentional cycle

WTO/TWW? I think I'm in the TWW even though my Inito app would have me believe otherwise - it's what I get for starting mid-cycle

Ages of other child(ren)? 3

Any thoughts about this cycle? I really thought we got the timing right before my husband went away on his trip but now I'm second guessing everything.

Any questions? No. I just keep asking the same questions about my hormones over and over. Google hates to see me coming.

Rant/Rave? My husband comes back today! It was really nice having some uninterrupted, quality time with my daughter but I am happy to not solo parent anymore.

GTKY: Any plans for Valentine’s Day? We have to take our cats to the vet on Friday morning but it's right near our favorite bagel place so we will probably get breakfast there. We have to see two shows this week for work (my husband works in theater and I work in an adjacent industry) and will probably have a nice, early V-Day dinner.

What number are you trying for? I have a few kids ranging from 22 to 18m, TW….. I have had a second tri loss and 2 chemicals.

Month/Cycle? 2

WTO/TWW? TWW

Ages of other child(ren)? I have a few ranging from 22 to 18m

Any thoughts about this cycle? I have a slight chance. My one BD within the fertile window is -4 I believe. Same timing as my last pregnancy that ended in a CP.

Any questions? None

Rant/Rave? I’m so moody. I’m frustrated about our timing and the fact next cycle won’t be any better. We will have to step up our game next cycle if this one doesn’t work out.

GTKY: Any plans for Valentine’s Day? No plans. I need to come up with a gift for DH. I have no clue what to get him.

What number are you trying for? 2, this will be third pregnancy, previous one was a loss.

Month/Cycle? Lost count, maybe 4 or 5 good timing months in this most recent stretch of actively monitoring and trying.

Any thoughts about this cycle? We had good timing and I'm all over the place symptom spotting. I hate that I do that but can't seem to stop myself lol.

Any questions? Do you guys have any valentine's day traditions with your kids? My family had very few traditions when I was a kid, so I'm trying to come up with fun ones now that I'm a parent. I'm thinking we'll give him a card and maybe chocolate dip some pretzels or something.

GTKY: Any plans for Valentine’s Day? Me and my spouse have a Valentine's day tradition since we started dating that we watch a Lord of the Rings movie and eat Five Guys. We've never missed a valentine's day lol.

@ferret22 When I was a kid we always made chocolate suckers to pass out at school for Valentine’s Day (using melting chocolate and candy molds). Hard to do nowadays because most schools have a “no homemade treats” rule, but we are able to this year so I’m going to start that tradition with my kids now

Month/Cycle? Wrapping up the 2nd year of trying; 2nd treatment cycle

We are traveling this weekend and were supposed to stay through Wednesday for a meeting but MH asked to attend virtually instead and THANK GOD because otherwise we would have been in FW in a hotel room with two kids 🙃

GTKY: Any plans for Valentine’s Day? Road trip to see a bunch of friends!

@ferret22 I love the hearts on their door thing with something you love about them on each heart. Have I done it? No I have not. Do I have the energy for it this year? No I do not 🙈 But maybe one year!

@virginiaham that is a wonderful idea. I may cut some hearts and do that this year. My kids would love it.

We have a valentines party this Thursday with our friends and they want to bake cookies and give those out. So I guess I’m baking cookies today. This is turning out to be a week of little to no school getting done and it’s killing me but I’m glad they get to have a party.
