  • WAYDTGKU (BD/TI/IVF/FET/Benched/etc.): BD, waiting for a match for embryo adoption

    WTO/TWW: TWW (12dpo)

Timing/Testing/CS: -5, -1. Testing Saturday if AF hasn’t arrived by then

How are things going? Any questions?: Good. My temps are still high, which is a good sign. At the very least it means my LP is long enough. My temps used to fall around 11dpo, which doctors never seemed concerned about, but I always thought it could be part of the problem. So even if this cycle doesn’t work for us, it’s good to see temps still high at 12dpo

R/R: I spent all day at a museum yesterday and my feet hurt so much when I got home lol. Honestly I’m still kind of tired from it

WTO/TWW: I thought I'd be in the TWW now but I think I'm still WTO - see below!

    Timing/Testing/CS: I *THOUGHT* -2, 0 but I don't know

How are things going? Any questions?: I got my Inito device in the mail, which is supposed to track estrogen, progesterone, LH, and FSH. I wasn't able to test when I was supposed to because I was waiting for the replacement device so I started testing as soon as I got it - it said low fertility. My estrogen was elevated but my LH and FSH were extremely low. So I don't know if I already ovulated or if I'm about to ovulate - I guess I'll keep testing and see what happens.

R/R: Based on my numbers on the Inito app, I've been Googling like a mad woman and have diagnosed myself with a bunch of thyroid disorders. But the science of it is amazing. Has anyone ever used it?
  • @fifilala516 I don’t know much about Inito, but how would it test for thyroid issues? Doctors test for that by checking your TSH levels, which it doesn’t look like your device tests. I would definitely be wary about self-diagnosing yourself
  • @britters314 it doesn’t but all my googling has led me to think that low LH and FSH could be a sign of thyroid issues. I am a chronic over thinker and WebMD hates to see me coming.
  • CD1.  We are building a garage shelf and should be done this morning so I’ll have organizing to throw myself into and pass the AF time.

@fifilala516 oh yeah don’t spiral girl!  The data is meant to be used as a trend and a single static point of levels won’t really be able to tell you that much—what you are describing it sounds like either you haven’t ovulated yet or it’s just after O (versus the points when LH and estrogen rise).  Are you temping / did your temp rise happen?

  • @virginiaham I’m not temping. I keep meaning to get a new thermometer but I keep forgetting. Also I’m a pretty restless sleeper and get up a lot at night so I’m not sure how accurate it would be.
  • @virginiaham I’m glad you have something to distract you and keep you busy.

@fifilala516 Do you have an Apple Watch? Or a watch that takes your temp? You could use those to see a trend. I have seen charts comparing Apple Watch temps to oral BBT and Tempdrop and some looked pretty good. Obviously, it’s not as good as a regular BBT. I have also been tracking my resting HR and it’s trending alongside my tempdrop temps which is fascinating.
  • @fifilala516 I think temping is supposed to be accurate as long as you get 3 consecutive hours of sleep just before temping, so depending on how much you get up during the night, it might still be doable
  • @fifilala516 I’m living proof that what @britters314 say works! I use Tempdrop now but before that I’d just check my clock whenever I woke up and as long as I’d gone to bed 3+ hours before, I temped right then. It wasn’t the exact same time every night and I always still saw a clear cycle pattern.
Caveat: I had to stop this method because I found I was teaching my body to wake to temp, which wasn’t exactly the point, and the handful of times I woke up less than 3 hours after falling asleep I was so anxious about when to temp that I struggled to fall back asleep.

WTO/TWW: I pretty positive I ovulated. Just waiting for a shift to confirm.

Timing/Testing/CS: our timing looks like we are trying to avoid instead of TTC. His work schedule got in the way. I’ll start testing around 9DPO.

How are things going? Any questions?: I’m already feeling like I’m out. I looked at what our timing would be like for next cycle and of course he has another string of nights lined up that week. I’m going to have to ask him to make some time in those days so we can have better timing.

R/R: I have been sleeping so bad lately. My neck hurts so bad from it. I feel like I need a full body massage to recover from it.
  • BFN today. Temps are still high though so idk when AF will arrive..
  • Sorry @britters314 ditto for me today
  • Sorry for the BFNs ladies.
  • So sorry ladies.
