Re: Weekly Check-in 1/27
I had an ultrasound this morning and finally got a clear picture of my little oneโs face. I love getting to see him grow.ย
@peach93 - I loved that one too!
I also checked out Where the Sidewalk Ends SO many times from my school library; I loved the poems in it so much. There was also this random book just called "Cats" and it was a nonfiction book all about different big cats and I'm pretty sure I could still give you any random big cat fact if you asked.ย ๐
Ohhh, what a fun question! I read all of the Series of Unfortunate Events books!
I recently started a list of things we'll need for baby #2: a dresser for the nursery, a glider/rocking chair for the nursery, another Hatch sound machine, another camera for the baby monitor (we have one that can connect to two different cameras), blackout curtains for the nursery. Maybe a new diaper pail??
We're also going to stock up on NB/size 1 diapers, wipes, and I need to double check that our infant car seat hasn't expired (it will be 6 years old when baby is born, and I'm not sure how long they last...)
Someone on here said A Series of Unfortunate Events and YES! Although my mom still complains that she doesnโt know how a kid could read something so depressing.

ย ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด? Better, but a lot worse than I expected to feel by this point. Iโm still nauseas, especially in the evenings, threw up a couple days ago, and have less energy than I did in the first trimester.
ย ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐/๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐: I had an appointment on Tuesday and the midwife, who I loved, scared me a little by saying that if my nausea hasnโt dissipated by 20 weeks, itโs most likely going to stick around for the entire pregnancy. I really really hope thatโs not the case. Iโve been so beyond miserable and Iโm ready to be past it

ย ๐๐ง๐๐ฌ: What was your favorite book as a child? I was a huge reader and canโt choose just one lol. I learned to read with Dr Seuss and later moved on to Geronimo Stilton and Goosebumps, then The Edge Chonicles, Spiderwick, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Fablehaven, and I know there are plenty others that Iโm forgetting!
Sorry if itโs already been asked but -Howโs everyone feeling when it comes to baby names? I think weโve officially settled now on a name for our daughter or son. It feels exciting and also such a big responsibility to choose a name!
โThere is no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good oneโ
I know the anxiety about motherhood will be there regardless, but do know that simply the fact that youโre thinking about how to be a good mom means you really will be a great one.ย
Shout out to all the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and Series of Unfortunate Events ladies out there!ย
