Trying to Get Pregnant

How many cycles did it take you to conceive?

Hi there. My husband and I just started trying. First cycle and got my period. I’ve been tracking my period and ovulation for months and felt like we got the timing right… already starting to panic that something is wrong. How long did it take you and your partner to conceive?

  • You realize this is a board of people TRYING to conceive, meaning it hasn't happened yet, so how can we answer your question? 🤨  it can take a healthy couple under 35 up to a year to successfully conceive.

  • It’s your first cycle, so it’s definitely way too soon to feel like something is wrong. Most healthy couples take six months to a year — conception is not in our control. Many woman will time everything perfectly — I am one — and still, conception will not occur. It’s a chance game — you get 20-30% each cycle if you’re under 30, and then it drops down to 10%. I would also like to gently remind you that many users on this forum are trying, so that means for a lot it hasn’t happened yet. Just food for thought.
  • When my husband and I started trying, I was tracking everything too—ovulation tests, cervical mucus, the whole nine yards. I really thought we nailed the timing that first month and was crushed when my period showed up. It’s hard not to panic and wonder if something’s wrong, even though logically I knew it can take healthy couples several months. Something that I beleive has helped me was drinking Get Pregnant Fertility Tea. I started having a cup a day around ovulation, and honestly, it gave me a sense of calm and a little hope. Right now I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my miracle baby.
