Baby is the size of a (an): fingers are as big as a gummy bear? Measuring 6lb 6oz at today's ama us, but I would put money that babe is already 7+ based on my other 4 coming out 1 lb heavier than they measured.
Team blue/pink/green: green for 4 more weeks!
Upcoming Appointments: today, next wed, 1/21, 1/27, 2/3, then RCS+tubal on 2/5 at 5pm.
How are you feeling?: so over this pregnancy thing, but trying to cherish this last time through.
Rants/Raves: rant&rave, we got 10" of snow Sunday, and it's beautiful, and the boys preschool has been closed this week, and I'm ready for them to get out of the house, but also glad I haven't had to transport them. Rant: I'm behind on preparing our house for new baby because there's still Xmas decor everywhere, and I have a hard time carrying it to our basement storage. I feel like there's so much to do the next 4 weeks and that I only have energy for 1 small task before I need a nap. Inevitably someone needs a butt wipe or a coat and gloves or a snack and that sucks up my energy too.
Questions: what treats should I pack for the l&d and recovery nurses? I'm planning on 2 baskets (one for each break room) of individually wrapped chocolates, beef sticks, cracker sandwiches, chips, and mandarin oranges, but I would love some more ideas, especially higher protein snacks.
GTKY: what is something unique you're packing in your hospital bag? Diffuser so the hospital room smells a little more like home (baby safe scents). Prunes to help me (and baby!) poop.
