Re: Weekly Check-In 1/13
Saturday night was always movie night and we'd order pizza and have potato chips. My son is still too young to sit through a movie, but eventually I'd like to do Saturday family movie nights with my kids!ย
Rave: I get to go to a work conference next month AND am taking a week off to do an out of town shopping trip that my fiancรฉ is planning so I feel like Iโve got lots to look forward to.ย
Gardening! My mom had a huge garden when we were growing up and we loved to steal veggies and play in the mud. Canโt wait to have my little one crawling in the dirt while I plant and harvest.
Hoping to do a lot of gardening like someone mentioned above, and lots of arts and crafts days. I just canโt wait to share my love for creativity and nature like my mom did with me. I know my husband is excited to have a little adventure buddy too!ย
Rave, I am so happy to be feeling better!ย
has anyone else gotten an earlobe cyst? ๐ I looked it up and it seems just a weird but harmless thing from pregnancy hormone changesย
My mom would make a paper loop chain for us to tear off each day to count down to our birthday (probably about 20 days ahead or idk, whenever we started asking how many days until our birthday lol). Iโd like to do that for the baby when he or she is that age. ย ย
And that's a cute tradition, I've done that for Christmas but never heard of doing it for birthdays!
All that I can think of is โsnacky food night.โ Which is basically a movie night where everyone picks their favorite snack foods and we make a meal out of it. I can remember being in elementary school and so looking forward to Friday nights going to the grocery to get our snacks then off to Pop nโ Go video to pick out our movies for the night. I tried it with my husband early on in our marriage and he did not get it. โOkay, but what is for dinner? Like what is the main meal or course?โ He grew up in a very traditional meal eating family. I guess my family was a little more lax. He didnโt love it, but the boys have enjoyed it. We donโt do it often, but it is a fun indulgence when we do!ย
