I'm just going to fill this out while I have a minute because mom brain is so bad haha.

Weeks + Days: 18..+4? I think?

Baby is the size of a (an): apparently a bell pepper, an eggplant and a cucumber, all of which are wildly different sizes lol.

Upcoming Appointments: I've forgotten which day my anatomy scan is on lol I think it's next week though.

How are you feeling?: tired of being sick ugh.

Rants/Raves: I've been getting a couple odds and ends in for baby, and it's so exciting.
I need to move my 19 month old out of the mini crib and into a bed of her own and ugh I hate shopping for beds so much, it's so complicated and I don't know if I want to do a bigger crib for her or just transition her to a toddler bed in my room or what and my kids are so picky I feel pressured to get it right and I'm the worst at shopping for gear and furniture. 🫠

Questions: can I just hire a personal assistant to make all decisions for me for the next five months 🫠

GTKY: we ended up taking an unexpected day trip to the beach this weekend because we needed some fresh air after being cooped up sick for two weeks and some sun and it was the most hot mess express trip but we had fun.

Upcoming Appointments: it was today , also had my anatomy scan and baby was a wild child! Have to go back in four weeks for another ultrasound. It is a boy 💙

How are you feeling?: better but still feel a lot of fatigue

-pssshhhh.... Idk we all went to the midwives for my appointment a couple weeks ago. 😂 I have pretty bad anxiety and in turn, I'm a hermit. Sooooo 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ TBD. Lol

@kmbeit omg congratulations! Yay for team blue! I wish my practice would do anatomy scans earlier like yours did but alas I always see sticklers for 20 weeks lol
I hope your little boy calms down for the redo scan and they get you some beautiful pictures!

How are you feeling?: okay. Forgot unisom one night and sat drive heaving into a car sickness bag driving to work on Sunday. Guess I'm not ready to wean off yet

GTKY: First big adventure planned this year? Going to Jamaica in a couple weeks!!! I cannot WAIT. Taking the kids and my parents are coming, which may be interesting as we have only traveled with my parents once before and it was not ideal, but my sister and niece's won't be there this time so hopefully it will be better?

@kalesix3 @sheildmaiden95 thanks! We actually went around 14 wks to an ultrasound boutique place because I was so curious and they said boy then but it was definitely confirmed yesterday! They also ended up changing my due date so originally I was to be 20 weeks tomorrow according to the June 4th LMP date but changed to the 10th of June which correlates with the way my cycle is. I’m thankful and hoping it will help towards the end of pregnancy if I have to be induced. Also switched practices so yesterday was my first appt and it was around 2 hrs 🤪 including ultrasound lol but I really like the midwife and hoping for a VBAC this time!

@kmbeit I love when they change the due date to when your actual cycle dates line up, lmp dating system is one of my biggest pet peeves because oftentimes it just sets people up for disappointment and anxiety. The idea that everyone ovulates on day 14 makes me so irritated 🫠 I think we are only a day apart with our due dates now! I'm keeping everything crossed that you can have a vbac, you got this 🫶🏻
Those transfer appointments are SO LONG omg 😩

@kalesix3 yes! I feel like the reason it felt like I failed last time was the dates didn’t match up and I wasn’t ready to go into labor being induced. Although I do have to say I’m thankful we both were fine and they did have concerns about baby so…but sometimes I wonder if it would have been a little different. Oh wow that’s cool only a day apart! Thanks!

@kmbeit that's why they don't like to change my due dates for that exact reason, they don't want to complicate and fudge things up at the end when things are already so stressful and anxious. I'm sorry that was your first experience and I'm so glad they changed it this time, hopefully that peace of mind helps immensely. I know how the wondering is. I'll always wonder if there was a way my first daughter could have lived through labor, or what if something had gone differently or better, I think it's only natural to wonder. I hope this experience for you is different and healing in every way.
