𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: Rave: My bestie has been staying with us for the past few days and it's been soooo good ♥ We dont get to see each other often and it's been amazing.
𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: What's your New Years resolution? I honestly don't really do these - but I did set a new reading goal for the year! 50 books, a bit lofty considering the lack of time I'll have in the tail end of the year, but... I'll try xD
𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: we’ll be finding out but will be keeping it a surprise from everyone
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? On the tail end of being sick but otherwise fine. Minimal symptoms - fatigue and minor nausea.
𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: don’t really have any right now
𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: What's your New Years resolution?
I’ve been reading a lot more so I want to read 50 books this year. I also want to run/walk 2025 miles for the year 2025 (crazy I know!) but we’ll see just how far I go 😂

Ohhh a fellow bookworm! I had wanted to set my own goal at 75 but then found out I'm going to be extra busy after September 😂 How many did you knock out in 2024? I managed 52, but got a late start.
I feel like I haven't read for pleasure in yearsss, but I started again late summer and got through 30 books! It has helped cut down on the late night doom scrolling lol

Nice!! And yeah it definitely does that, though I also find myself pausing my reading and staring at my phone, without really knowing how it ended up in my hands.. Oh well.
𝗙𝗧𝗠/𝗦𝗧𝗠/𝗧𝗧𝗠+/𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱: This will be number 4

𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: Two of my best friends are out of the country for the holidays and I can't tell them I am pregnant until they are back. Also slightly terrified of their reaction.....
𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Why do doctors offices have to not be open on Saturdays so that I can get Betas done? Don't they know I have the ANXIETY!
𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: What's your New Years resolution?
As of this day, stay pregnant until at least July 4. I know that probably seems random but my last nugget was a September Due Date who RUDELY arrived in June. She's fine she's wonderful and happy and healthy and 7.5 years old so... yeah.

@naka92 I read so much after my last baby was born, nursing - reading, pumping - reading.
Apparently every one is a book worm. My goal is 60 books this, I read 68 last year but got super into Romantasy last year so those books are like 900 pages. I am counting down to Onyx Storm right now!

@mambo5-2 Ohh me too girly! Im so excited for Onyx Storm! Fourth Wing/Iron Flame were some of my top reads last year.
My January TBR is a little out of control and there's no way I'm going to manage to read all 8 books I want to read.. Started out with Quicksilver on the 1st and, wellp, she's a big one haha. I actually took a giant reading break after my first was born. It took me *years* to get through a single 800 page book. My first was a very needy baby, and my second is just a handful. I'm hoping this third one will give me reading time haha.

@mambo5-2 I'm a little under halfway through it now and, Im still unsure how I feel? I love the worldbuilding and the story, but the dialogue often feels forced? Idk. The relationships between the FMC and other characters feels forced.
Anyone read the Blood and Ash series? 5 book series - currently halfway through book 3 but curious other people’s opinions
It's on my TBR

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: I don’t care, just be healthy.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Currently sick with a head cold, so scratchy throat. Pregnancy naps they hit different, I go to sleep tired, when I wake up its like coming off of anesthesia with all being tired (I just had fillings done this past August, so that’s still fresh). Also, experiencing nausea only when I don’t eat soon enough.
𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: I want to declutter and take stuff to goodwill to make room for the baby or babies, we have yet to see an ultrasound. I’m tired all the time so it makes it difficult to do anything. I miss sushi. I was gonna work on my health this year and get better by walking to lose weight because health, but then got a positive test.
𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Is it normal to have a higher body temp? To go from 97.9 to 99.6? Is pooping just a weird concept that only happens in the mornings? Also, are there any stretches that can make the fart gas expel sooner, it hurts when I’m bloated because there’s so much. Sorry for all the TMI I just don’t know if any of this is normal, it’s my first kid and there’s so many new feelings. Is it possible to feel like some sort of identity shift this early like I’m not just me, myself, who I am as a person, my husband’s wife, a service dog handler, anymore, but I’m also a mom to a baby growing inside of me that I need to make sure has a mom who wants to be there for them, and supportive.
𝗚𝗧𝗞𝗬: I was gonna work on losing weight for my health, but my New Year’s resolution now is to stay awake and have enough energy to declutter. For every item we bring in, we try to donate stuff in its place of it or recycle the materials it came packaged in to keep a cleaner apartment.
@zoo2024 I'll only answer the questions I know anything about - but yeah, its very normal to feel some sort of identity shift! I know we all hate to hear it but lets be honest, we are all very much hormonal during this time. Our bodies are going through a lot of changes and our heads are trying to keep up. It's a lot to take in, especially with a first child. In every case, it is a lifechanging event, and it might take a bit to fully come to terms with and accept that, even if you're happy and excited for the journey. You'll likely go through a lot of feelings about it as we go, and that is okay. Not every moment has to be bubbly happy rainbow-filled joy - keep expressing what you feel as you feel it, no feelings are off limits.
@zoo2024 early pregnancy is weird. I feel all sorts of ways all the time. The good news is you can still walk! My goals will definitely include walking more this pregnancy, I broke my ankle really bad over the summer and I need to walk to keep it moving.

My goal was to lose weight @mambo5-2 because hubby and I with my parents were going to have a family moon at Disney. And last time I was at disney I passed out and the trip was cut short, so I was gonna try to lose weight for that and my health.
@naka92 its exciting, but like is pregnancy rage normal? Is it from not getting enough sleep? I try to sleep 8-9 hours, and sometimes I’m just frustrated because I’m still tired.
@zoo2024 First trimester is exhausting, absolutely. If that generally makes you ornery, you'll be feeling that. For me it's more tears and stuff right now, its kinda like worse PMS? If you struggle with it, always consult your physician.
𝗙𝗧𝗠/𝗦𝗧𝗠/𝗧𝗧𝗠+/𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱: FTM second pregnancy. I had a miscarriage last year.
𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝘁/𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲/𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸/𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻: definitely finding out
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴? Honestly not bad, which kinda makes me a bit nervous. I’m pretty exhausted whenever I wake up. I get nauseous randomly/ or I haven’t figured out the triggers yet. My breast were really sore last week. But now not as much…
𝗥𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀/𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀: none really. I think someone mentioned something similar- but my bestie spent the holidays with us for 3 weeks and I hadn’t seen her in over a year because we live in two different countries. But now I’m sad.
New Year’s resolution: honestly none really, but definitely it includes a successful pregnancy and delivery
𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
Is it weird that my symptoms aren’t that crazy yet?

Haha that was me! Totally get the sadness, I'm quite sad myself. Even my dog is sad about her leaving. She just needs to move into my basement tbh. As for symptoms, remember that every pregnancy is different. Some of us will be lucky and have next to no symptoms, you might just be part of that group. There's people that go their entire pregnancy symptom free! They are clearly more loved by the gods than I am, lol.
@zoo2024 pregnancy rage is so real. My husband usually tells me I'm being a B so I need to test.
