9 week ultrasound measuring 3 weeks behind

Like the title says, my tech found the fetal pole, yolk sac, and heartbeat of 114. Baby measured 5 weeks 5 days. Based on lmp I should have been 9 weeks 1 day. I do have irregular cycles. The ob on call didn’t seem concerned and said I likely just ovulated late. Has anyone experience this and had a good outcome? This is my first and I’m hoping for the best but very anxious. I’m not understand how it’s possible to be 5 weeks 5 days. I tested positive November 11. So it doesn’t add up right to me.

    I also thought I was further along than I was. It was late ovulation and I must have had a really early positive test. It's normal to be anxious when the results of an ultrasound don't match up to what you are expecting. But if everything else looks good I'd say try not to worry!
