Digestion problems

Anyone else stomach hurt after almost everything you eat? I swear the only thing that doesn’t bother me is plain bread… but I definitely don’t want to be eating too much of that for nutrition and blood sugar reasons! I’m extremely gassy and not sure what to do. Ginger candies don’t seem to be doing it for me

  • Aw I’m so sorry. 😭😭 I am feeling better now and able to eat a bit more, but for a little bit, I felt like basically all I could eat without issue were saltine crackers. Then I started being able to eat plain potatoes (cut like fries and put in the air fryer) too. I tried 4 different brands of ginger candies (Dramamine’s brand of chewy ones, Tum-Tums blackberry flavor, GinGins and one other I don’t remember) and for whatever reason Gin-Gins seemed to do better than the others but that’s just me🤷‍♀️

    Not sure if this is helpful but I kept getting ads for telehealth nutrition companies to meet with a registered dietician for $0 with commercial insurance. So I contacted a few of the companies, one of them was able to get it sorted with my insurance for $0, and meeting with the dietician was really helpful to talk through this with. For me, I have been having a lot of gas and bloating, she recommended trying low-FODMAP foods. And she assured me it’s ok to be eating crackers when it’s all I can eat, and shared little tips like try eating a little snack every hour instead of three meals, stand up or sit up after eating (don’t lie down bc it can make the nausea/reflux worse), try eating some foods cold so I don’t smell it, try a thin layer of peanut butter on the crackers sometimes, have some easy foods around like jello and popsicles and applesauce to snack on based on if I feel like I can handle them. You may have tried all those already but personally my brain was so overwhelmed about the baby, I didn’t even things of things like this haha.
