Looking for insight!

Hi!

Just looking for some others who may have some insight or similar experiences.

*possible trigger, discussion of subchorionic hemorrhage*

I calculated my pregnancy to be 5 weeks and 6 days as of today, due August 10th.

Yesterday's HCG results were 479, which seemed low. This morning's progesterone results were 6.2, also low. I went to the ED due to cramping, and they performed an ultrasound. I am measuring 4 weeks and 6 days, and my HCG doubled in 24 hours (which is 👍). That explains HCG on the lower end.

I also have a subchorionic hemorrhage, which I had in my last pregnancy. Not super concerning to me, these usually do resolve.

As far as the low progesterone, I asked the ED about progesterone suppositories, but they don't prescribe them. However, my previous OB did. Can anyone explain this difference in approach? 🙏

I sent a message to my OB. Hopefully I will have more insight on Monday.

    The ER is the LAST place you want to go to for pregnancy stuff.  They want you to go to the doctor that specializes in Ob- the OB may pwrscribe it the ED does not perscribe routine medicines.

    I'm also experiencing a subchorionic hemorrhage, which was really scary to hear, although they say it's small (about 10% gestational sac). The doc did prescribe me progesterone, but oddly enough didn't give me any other advice other than to take the meds. I'd love to hear from you about your previous experience with a subchorionic hemorrhage. I'm 9weeks
