How are you feeling?: Tired/fatigued a lot. Also, I've been sleeping in different positions (sitting up or slightly elevated) and today my arm is bothering me. It feels weak and a little sore from time to time. Not really painful, just annoying. I'm sleeping in these positions because the heartburn has come back and some nights the Pepcid doesn't work for the whole night.
GTKY: Is there something that you are excited to do after the baby gets here that you couldn't do while you were pregnant (ex. Eating something we couldn't have, certain types of exercise, seeing below your belly lol)? Being more interactive with my daughter. This is where I push myself the most and then get really sore afterwards. Yesterday she was getting upset about everything and just wanted to be held. She would go back and forth between my husband and I and it got to the point one time I just couldn't pick her up. We just got home so I went to the couch and my husband brought her over to me and put her on my lap. But in the moment I felt so bad that I couldn't just pick her up and comfort her. And I know it won't be immediately after he's born because I will still be recovering from the c-section.

How are you feeling?: Reallyyyy uncomfortable. Having terrible time sleeping, and have started to get bad swelling in my feet/legs after being out and about too much. At this point in twin pregnancy they could realistically be here in a week or a month, so the unknown of it all is also stressing me out a little bit.

YES! Just a few off the top of my head...
- wear my normal clothes that haven't fit in months
- sleep on my stomach (or just not sleep propped up in a sitting position lol)
- wine
- play with our puppy more actively

How are you feeling?: still feeling like I'm large and in charge! and my organs getting more and more squished, harder to breathe when driving. Getting harder and harder to feel comfortable sleeping. I was sleeping pretty decently until recently and it's definitely the size of the bump just getting bigger and bigger + feeling baby moving more often and stronger.
GTKY: Is there something that you are excited to do after the baby gets here that you couldn't do while you were pregnant (ex. Eating something we couldn't have, certain types of exercise, seeing below your belly lol)? Definitely sleep positions - on stomach and on back haha. I hear after having a baby, you never return to your pre-mom self, but rather, work with your new sense of self and how you feel in your body. So for me, it's starting a new book (not a new chapter, but new book!) in my life and re-discovering what makes me feel happy, whole, and complete while evolving who I am as a mom.

How are you feeling?: I mean, tired and emotional? This morning I cried a little bit when I saw that I only have 5 weeks left until due date, and then a cried in a happy way listening to a favorite song. My pelvic floor is often heavy - I couldn’t really imagine what that would feel like until now. Baby is moving around regularly all day and I can tell he’s running out of room!
GTKY: Is there something that you are excited to do after the baby gets here that you couldn't do you were pregnant? Omg I can’t WAIT to lay flat on my back! Also, eventually, taking long walks again. I can do it now but everything will hurt afterwards. I’ll probably also get a bunch of sushi just because I can.
Regarding your weight concerns, that does sound very stressful. Of course I’m not a medical professional, but I’m wondering, have you had your thyroid checked? Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) can cause unexplained weight loss, and thyroid levels can go haywire during and after pregnancy. I have Hashimoto’s, which causes hypothyroid (underactive), which is the opposite, but I did have a period last year when my meds were off and my thyroid levels went hyper, and it was wild. If you decide to get checked, they should look at TSH, T3 and T4, and you could ask them to check for antibodies too in case there’s a larger issue behind it (like Grave’s disease, which causes hyperthyroidism). I don’t want to scare you, just some thoughts! Thankfully thyroid issues are totally manageable if that’s the case.

How are you feeling?: very pregnant lol but overall I am feeling pretty good. I have noticed that I will have new symptoms that make me feel really pregnant and uncomfortable but then I acclimate and the symptoms don't seem as bad after a week or so. I am both wanting time to slow down so I can feel more prepared for baby girl's arrival and also ready for her to get here!

I AM SO EXCITED TO SLEEP ON MY STOMACH!
Also... 100% with you about saving money that would be spent on a second car seat and spending it on something else. These car seats ain't cheaaaap, and it doesn't feel worth it for a second car seat that baby will outgrow so fast

How are you feeling?: mostly good. I’m having a similar experience to @bcml adapting to symptoms as they come. But the recent constipation and GI upset has been unpleasant, NGL. I mean, our organs are all smooshed out of whack so I guess it makes sense lol. Surprised that I seem to still sleep well about 4-5 nights/week. Waiting to lose that luxury soon 😂
GTKY: Is there something that you are excited to do after the baby gets here that you couldn't do while you were pregnant (ex. Eating something we couldn't have, certain types of exercise, seeing below your belly lol)?
oh yes haha: running (or just walking up stairs without getting winded lol), sleeping on my belly, eating raw tuna/sashimi, drinking a margarita
And your comment about being in the new house and feeling overwhelmed by the task of unpacking everything... as long as you have some key spaces set up for baby and cleared out from boxes, try not to stress over it too much! It will all get done in time, and it doesnt need to be perfect before baby gets here 💕 the more important thing is making sure that YOU are getting rest and feeling good for baby's arrival
@fk18 i love hearing that baby is PERFECTLY sized despite a smaller bump. I'm projecting my own experience here but... im sure you've gotten comments on bump size (like I have) that can be upsetting or mess with your head. I'm so happy to hear your baby is perfectly on track for your due date even though you may be carrying a little differently than "the norm". I feel the same about internal organs paying the price.. baby boy was putting crazy pressure on my lungs and ribs very early on
