Update from Y'day. Neg preg test at dr. WHAT!?

Ok, so yesterday I posted that I had taken 2 at home pregnancy tests, one on Tuesday night and one on Wednesday morning, and both were positive. (First Response early result.) I went to the dr. this morning and they did a urine test, which came back negative. WTF?

 Maybe the urine was too diluted, maybe the test at the dr's office isn't as accurate as the at home one I took. They are doing a blood test, which takes a day or 2. ARGH. I am feeling like a fool. Anybody have any advice other than to wait?

    I'm 20wks pregnant with a negative pregnancy test from the doctor. 

    I got a BFP at home.  Went in.  They said theirs was negative and drew blood.  I was over 5wks at the time.  The blood came back and it was very positive and I hit 20wks yesterday.

    I think those doctor tests suck.

    Argh. Then why am I getting a negative from the dr? Wonder if anyone else goes through this.

    Funny (in a weird sort of way), I took a urine test at the doc on Friday as she informed me that theirs were more sensitive than any HPT.  Oh cripes!

    FWIW my docs office uses the same ones that they sell at the $ tree... dont get me wrong - the $ tree ones were great for if you waited til 13DPO or you missed your period but i got negs on the $tree ones and then  positives on FRER's at 11DPO.

    Thanks, Daisy and and other ladies. That makes me feel somewhat better to know I'm not the only one. You know if I don't hear back from the dr today, I'll be stopping at Walgreen's on the way hm to see for myself. Looks like I'm already on the emotional roller coaster...
