Trying to Get Pregnant

So many days and a host of unexplained symptoms

I’m frustrated and petrified! And this is lengthy (SIA) According to timing and estimation of ovulation I’m currently 29 DPO, on cycle day 40 and a whopping TWELVE days late! Now for me that’s so abnormal as my cycle so dependable. If late or early it’s with 2 days max. So 12 days is alarming to me. I’ve been so tired but such is adulthood right? But I’m also having really sensitive nipples, slight nausea, lower back pain tons of discomfort in my uterus area (not exactly cramps). It’s in the middle not like my usual left(sometimes right side). The discomfort is similar to the start of a period (you know the feeling where you run to the restroom because your undies are about to be ruined) just not as bad, and it’s paired with sharp twinges. Took 7 at home test all BFN. 5 cheapies and 2 CB. Not to mention I smelled a banana from a mile away. Didn’t hold too much stock in that as bananas are usually fragrant. I just thought it was weird, my coworker eats them all the time in closer proximity and I rarely smell them unless I’m right next to him. I keep getting these mini headaches throughout the day. I don’t want to be the girl who cries pregnant every month. Or symptom spot for every little sensation and gas bubble. I don’t track ovu, just ovu and pms symptoms, as well as my period. Which remember is like clockwork. Please tell I’m not crazy or delusional based on those symptoms and these estimated stats:

date of estimated ovulation: nov4-6
did the deed: nov 6,7
period was a no show: nov 19 (still not here btw)
soreness in breast and nips: nov 15 (just thought it was pms and AF on the way. But it never stopped)

Made an appointment for a blood test but my impatience is debilitating. And Google is making me feel like I have 30 minutes to live

Re: So many days and a host of unexplained symptoms

  • You're regular until you're not. Bodies are weird and even stress can cause you to miss a period. It happens. Track your ovulation to pinpoint when you actually ovulate to get a better idea. If you got 7 BFNs, you're not pregnant. If you're feeling symptoms you would be able to see a BFP. I can say with 100% certainty because I've seen it with my own 2 eyes that you are not the first person to make this EXACT post. "I'm however many days late, but I'm SO regular. I'm having all these symptoms but getting a BFN, am I pregnant?" I think if you scroll down the threads to just a couple weeks ago you'll see your post but from someone else saying all the same things 🙃 so go ahead and get your blood test to confirm what 7 tests have already told you, but going forward, track your ovulation and temperature to get to know your cycle a bit better.

🙃🙃Thanks for your input. However I went to er about an hour ago because of a dizzy spell and almost fainting and urine test came back positive. Guess I know my body and cycle better than you thought. Based on dates I’m about 5 and half weeks but I’ll know more tomorrow at the appointment I was impatient about.
  • UPDATE: went to Hospital and no longer scared now that I know I’m building a tiny human…. Again…13 years later. Debated on deleting this now that I know. But just in case anyone wants to chime in I’ll leave it up a while.

So a urine test at the ER confirmed positive but 7 at home tests didn't? 🤔 that's, well, pretty unheard of unless your were somehow doing it wrong 🤨 either way, congratulations to you. Please move to your birth month club board.
