Congratulations on your pregnancy! 🎉 It's such an exciting time. I'm not a first-time mama, but I wanted to chime in and say that this community is a great place for support and advice. Wishing you a smooth and joyful journey through your pregnancy! How are you feeling so far?
First-timer here! Wondering if folks have advice on when it's safe to share the news. I'm super anxious about the possibility of a miscarriage, but also eager to share the update with close people. When is a common miscarriage week? I know the textbook answer is wait until 2nd trimester but that seems sooo far away! Thoughts??
Tell people whenever you feel like it! Obviously if you miscarry you have to tell everyone that too, so keep that in mind. But all those “rules” are so silly bc just as you want to celebrate your little one, you’ll need support and an outpouring of love if you miscarry. Congratulations!
First timer here! I'm 35 yo and it was starting to take long enough that I was mentally preparing myself for fertility consultations in 2025 -- so glad to be here instead! 🎉🎉🎉 Feeling all the symptoms and loving every minute of it.
I was preparing to reply to the post and realize you and I are in the same exact boat! I'm also 35, first time, and was in the same mental preparation stage. I haven't had any symptoms yet, aside from all the bloating.
Not a FTM but my youngest will be 12 when baby is born & my oldest 15. 🫣 So, it all feels new again. I find myself googling things I thought I would know. 😂 CONGRATULATIONS MAMA!

Hello, I just found out I'm pregnant for the first time a week ago. I'm 35 years old and I was TTC for 6 years with multiple failed IVFs... So to be honest I'm not excited, I'm scared as hell. I thought I will never get pregnant in my life...
First time mama here! 3 years of unexplained infertility and so many rounds of treatments it’s insane but got our first dye stealer a couple days ago! So nervous as our last couple ended fairly quickly but I’ve got a good feeling about this one
First Time Mom here! I am really starting to get excited! This has been a wild bumpy beginning!
Before I got pregnant I hadn’t had a period in over 60 days with multiple negative pregnancy tests. I was put on provera for 10 days to bring on a bleed 3 days after I finish my round of Provera I got a positive pregnancy test! No idea how far along I was, so called the doctor to confirm.
Had an ultrasound, it was too early, couldn’t see anything, HCg was rising but not quite doubling at first.
Ultrasound a week later they found an intrauterine pregnancy! Plus a mass on my right and left side. Possible ectopics. Today the mass on the left side is gone, the right side is shrinking and intrauterine pregnancy is growing, all that can be seen is the gestational sac and yolk sac. HCG has been doubling. I am only 5w4d and it has been a crazy start! I am starting to be very excited. I think it’s really happening!
First time mom here. Whole life of period problems. Did fertility visits for the past year to rule out everything. Did the first IUI and here I am 7w5d with TWINS!!!! Scared and super excited!!!!! Congratulations to all the mama's!
Happy New Year All! First time Mum (god that sounds weird to say) at 27, my partner and I are both very surprised but couldnt be happier! Exciting times ahead! Love to all! <3
First time mom at 39 after numerous fertility treatments. Like some of the other IVF moms I have been overwhelmed and scared because I thought I would never be pregnant. It’s been a whirlwind so far!
