FTM/STM/TTM+: First pregnancy, third time mom (2 adopted kiddos)
Baby is the size of a (an): Tootsie pop (minus the stick)
Team blue/pink/green: Hoping for pink, but haven’t found out yet
Upcoming Appointments: I had one today, US next week and then another full appointment on Dec 16
How are you feeling?: About the same as I have been. A little disappointed because we couldn’t hear baby’s heartbeat on the Doppler today. The midwife tried but she couldn’t get it, which she said is normal at 10 weeks. They would have then checked with an US, but the US tech is out all this week, so I’m going in for one on Monday. I’m not worried though because I’ve already had 2 ultrasounds where we saw the heartbeat.
Rants/Raves: I just bought myself a ticket for the Mean Girls musical. My birthday gift to myself. So I’m looking forward to seeing that.
Questions:
GTKY: What is your ideal type of vacation? I like something where I can do a lot of sight-seeing or other activities.
Upcoming Appointments: had my 1st appt last week and had an u/s showing little bean with a strong heart beat and measuring on track. Next appt Dec 18th will be 12 week genetic testing
How are you feeling?: like crap. Tired, cranky, nauseasted. Not puking at least with unisom but just blah
Rants/Raves: none
Questions: none
GTKY: What is your ideal type of vacation? I like a mix of relaxation and sight seeing. Recently we've been doing more beach vacations since it's just so much easier traveling with kids
How are you feeling?: awful! Nauseated and exhausted. Had a flu bug but still trying to get back to normal whatever that is!
Rants/Raves:
Questions:
GTKY: What is your ideal type of vacation? I like a relaxing vacation but also some sightseeing mixed in. We love going to Florida during the winter for some sunshine and warmer weather.
Upcoming Appointments: next appt is general with GP and to discuss results of genetic testing
How are you feeling?: nauseous, tired, angry, depressed
Rants/Raves: i want to be grateful but why didn’t hear this that pregnancy sucks the life out of you.
Questions: Will i ever feel okay like normal myself. GTKY: What is your ideal type of vacation?tbh right now , i would take any day feeling like myself would be a vacation :(
@knottie9b800822060921b2 It's completely understandable to have concerns about how you will feel after pregnancy. Many women experience a range of emotions and physical changes during this time. While it may take some time to adjust and find your new normal, rest assured that many do feel like themselves again.
It's important to prioritize self-care, seek support from loved ones, and consult with healthcare professionals who can provide guidance tailored to your situation. Remember, healing is a journey, and you're not alone in this experience. With time and the right support, you can absolutely regain your sense of well-being.
