Hi guys, I am 15dpo (3w5d gestational) and have been testing positive since 12 dpo with progressively darkening tests. On the evening of 12dpo I started spotting light brown/pink which progressed to red blood on 13 dpo. This has continued on/off since then, is lighter than my period but have cramps and worried it might be a chemical pregnancy… each time I’ve tested I’ve expected reducing lines/negatives but it’s getting stronger still. Very confused!! Anyone else experienced similar?
Re: Bleeding and pos tests
Honestly, I'd call your doctor and see if you can demand the HCG tests. If you aren't comfortable with that, if you're only like 18 dpo, and you don't get a negative or VERY faint test by like Wednesday, I'd call your doctor and request the tests.

Many people experience similar situations where they had light spotting but went on to have healthy pregnancies. However, each case is unique. It's always best to consult with a healthcare professional who can provide personalized advice based on your specific circumstances. They may recommend an ultrasound or blood tests to check hormone levels and ensure everything is progressing as it should.
Take care of yourself, and don’t hesitate to reach out for support from friends or online communities who have been through similar experiences. You're not alone in this!
Thanks so much for the responses, means a lot that anyone has taken the time to offer reassurance and advice! I’m in the UK and was told on the NHS they don’t offer anything this early in a pregnancy unless there’s ongoing health issues/history of miscarriage - I will call my GP and push for more support next week (I’m on holiday atm which is terrible timing) if this is ongoing!
For now, I’m still testing positive, 4weeks gestational and 17dpo, still slightly spotting light brown. I’ll keep testing every other day and see what happens, definitely experiencing pregnancy symptoms so here’s hoping 🤞🏻
The positive tests and symptoms you're experiencing are encouraging signs, but monitoring the spotting is important too. Keep listening to your body and don’t hesitate to seek out additional support if needed. Remember, you’re not alone in this journey! Wishing you all the best as you continue to monitor your situation—stay hopeful! 🤞🏻
