TTC After a Loss

“Older” mom TTC after chemical

hey mamas
im currently going through a chemical pregnancy, started around 5w4d, im wondering when I can start TTC again .. reading conflicting info online
I’m a few weeks away from 35 & my previous pregnancies were conceived without issues but my youngest is 4 & I’ve heard that TTC after 35 is hard.

I want to try again as soon as we can. Anyone older and successfully conceived right after a chemical pregnancy?

Is there anything I can do/supplements that can help increase the chances of a sticky babe. Currently taking prenatal, iron, magnesium & vitamin D

thank you so much 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Re: “Older” mom TTC after chemical

  • Hey, I just lost ours at five weeks two days. I went to the OB everything was cleared out fine. But because we had just miscarried, the lining of the uterus is completely shed and too thin. So if we get pregnant immediately, the baby will not stick. My OB advised that I wait at least six weeks take Folick acid, prenatals, and try to clean eat for the next six weeks. Then we should be good to go. I am 36 getting ready to be 37 and have a four year old as well.

  • Hello I'm sorry you're going through this. I miscarried Jan 2023 and had TFMR in May. I'm currently going through the IVF process and was given this supplement protocol for what it's worth. Best of luck
  • I’m sorry you both went through this. I had a chemical at 5 w 6 d last year. Just had another failed IVF transfer (didn’t take). I’m going to try that vitamin list. I’m 41 so who knows
  • I’m 27 and I miscarried after 5 weeks too. I feel so discouraged and disappointed in myself as if there was something I could’ve done better or differently. I’m fearful to experience the same thing if I TTC again.
