Hi everyone! I’m 27y/o and I just found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant. Yay!

Hi, I’m 28 years old. 7 weeks pregnant and have my first appointment with my OB this upcoming week. Super happy and nervous!
  • I am due in June as well 🙂
  • I'm also 27 , 5 weeks with my first . Idk what to do
  • I am 7 weeks 5 days, 27, and pregnant with my first! Nervous and excited
  • Hi I am 6 weeks 2 days due July 11. I’m 23 FTM. Recently various smells have been making me nauseous.Ex: I stepped into a barnes and noble yesterday that happened to have a star bucks and had to leave immediately. Any idea if that will go away any time soon or any advice on how to deal with that?
  • Hi ladies, 11 weeks here, 29 y/o, first pregnancy, unplanned and very scared/overwhelmed. Hoping for nausea to go away soon.

i take my hat off to women going into physical jobs daily and dealing with pregnancy symptoms! This is so much tougher than what media makes it seem
  • I would love to connect with first time moms for summer 2025! I’m 33 and due on 6/22! We were going to start trying at the end of October but the day I ordered my ovulation tracking kit I decided to take a pregnancy test - surprise! Guess I’ll pack that away for baby number two lol. Has anyone had their first ultrasound? Just wondering about how it went and what information you learned.
  • Love this idea 😊 I'm 35 so most of my friends went through this long ago or aren't planning on having kids! Plus we're not telling people yet - how are you all handling that part?? I'm finding it so hard not to, especially with the upcoming holidays!
  • @butterflyhunny also 35 and FTM! I have no advice on how to handle keeping it a secret but share your anxiety about it. We told our families early last time and then had an ectopic so are trying not to do the same
  • Oh gosh that's tough 😞
I'm debating maybe at least telling my mom so I have someone to talk to about it, but letting her know it's early so we're not sharing with anyone else. She had a tendency to pour me a glass of wine when I come over, so I've already warned my husband he may have to drink it for me at Thanksgiving if we don't tell her before!
  • @knottie2d20c32fa0230479 It’s not uncommon to experience heightened sensitivity to smells during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester. Many individuals report nausea triggered by certain scents, and while this can be uncomfortable, it often improves as you progress into your second trimester.

To manage this sensitivity, try these strategies:

    1. Avoid Triggers: If certain places or odors make you feel nauseous, do your best to avoid them for now.
    2. Fresh Air: Spend time outdoors or in well-ventilated areas to help alleviate feelings of nausea.
    3. Ginger or Peppermint: These natural remedies can be very effective for combating nausea. Try ginger tea or peppermint candies.
    4. Stay Hydrated & Eat Small Meals: Keeping your stomach settled with small, frequent meals and plenty of fluids can also help.

If symptoms persist or worsen, consider discussing them with your healthcare provider for tailored advice and reassurance. Remember, you're not alone in this—many people experience similar challenges during pregnancy!
  • @butterflyhunny it was nice to have a support system who knew what was going on already when things went badly, so that’s another thing to think about
  • I too am having a hard time with not telling people. We have told a couple of people (our parents) but we are waiting to tell our siblings until Christmas as I am just 7 weeks pregnant and it’s SO hard!
  • Hello! I am 32 and a first time mom as well! I am 7w3d :) having a crazy ride. Very emotional and having a lot of depression symptoms. :( I had to take this entire week off work :/. I would love to join in on the extra support as well.
    Congrats new moms!

  • 32, 1st pregnancy, 7 weeks yesterday. Also feeling overwhelmed and heightened anxiety! We aren't telling anybody yet, not sure we're ready to go through with this and don't want to break our parents hearts if not. Waiting to see a doctor and if everything is okay before we make any for sure decisions.
  • Hi, I’m an older mom to be lol. I’m 39 years old and currently 6 weeks pregnant. This will be my first. Very excited as well as nervous! I’m planning to share the news with my mom and siblings on Christmas day. :)
