    Timing/CS:   Our timing has been pretty bad and I keep getting really sick around ovulation. We've made a commitment to do better this month, so hopefully I don't get sick again.

    Rant: I'm officially 36 now and feeling very old with TTC. Boo! 👎
    Rave: Halloween was fun! 😁🎃

    It's the first year my 2yr "got" Halloween and he had a blast trick or treating. I just wish I could make him a sibling to run around with!

    @ferret22 so glad you had a nice Halloween! We did too. And girl, 36 is not very old TTC. I was 36 when I had my first and now I'm 41 trying for my 2nd. It's technically old for conception, but also, not really these days ya know?

    WTO/TWW:   WTO, according to my calendar I should be ovulating next week. I'm going to start the OPKs but I only have 7 sticks left so I hope I don't run out before I get my solid smiley face. I know the color ones are cheaper but they're difficult for me to interpret. I like a nice, very clear smiley face haha. But of course those ones are pricey 🤦🏻‍♀️ 

    Timing/CS:  plan on every other day starting tomorrow until after ovulation

    How are things going? Any questions?:  I both feel like there's so much time between cycles and my chance to try again and also like "oh crap, it's my ovulation week, I gotta make sure to BD" because we're always so busy that it takes genuine effort and of course there's the whole trying not to make it feel like work. I'm grateful for the busy holiday season to keep my mind off stressing, but again, I stress about finding the time to BD. Like it shouldn't be this hard to get down and dirty with my husband but for some reason it feels that way. 

    R/R: I don't want to talk politics, I just want to vent that I get stressed about it all and the varying opinions from loved ones. I'm ready for it to be over just so we know.

    @peppyj9 Thanks for the encouragement. My friends all had babies young so it's hard not to compare myself to them. 

    For OPK's I really like the Easy@home line. They're test strips so you have to read them with your phone but the app makes it super simple. They are so much cheaper than the sticks and give you a money back guarantee if you don't get pregnant in a certain amount of time while using their OPK's. This is not an ad, I just saved a lot of money using these lol. 

    Also I hear you on the BD and politics stresses. I keep getting sick around ovulation and it's messing up our timing. It's tough to get the timing right when we both feel good and aren't busy and I'm ovulating. But at least the politics unknowns should be over soon, it's tough worrying about what's going to happen.

    @ferret22 I recently learned some women experience "ovulation flu" where they reliably feel bad the few days around ovulation. Blew my mind! It sounds like this is a new thing and just a string of bad luck, but if it persists and it's always the same kind of illness, maybe something to look into?

    @peppyj9 I totally remember feeling that way about time when we were TTC before IVF. The days could be long, especially in the TWW, and then suddenly I'd be back to telling hubs it was time to arrange our evening schedules! All you can do is your best <3

    How are things going? Any questions?: Just got home from my first beta hCG test, results should be in this afternoon. Really hopeful and optimistic. I recognize almost everything I'm feeling at this stage is just the supplemental progesterone they've got me on, but I just can't help feeling like there's something more going on inside.

    R/R: Chances are with today being Thursday (plus the fact that the Denver region has had 38 consecutive hours of snow, with an estimated 48-56 more to go) we won't get a follow-up beta until next Monday...so we may be in for a long wait. Time to cuddle up with a cup of tea and a good book!

    @aisleofviewtwo I've been trying to reply to you for days but for some reason the app wouldn't let me! It seems to be working now. I'm sorry the FET didn't work this cycle 😔 how did you find out so soon? How are you feeling? Do you get to try again soon? I've been thinking of you and really sorry I wasn't able to reply sooner
