Cramping and spotting

Is cramping and spotting normal symptoms?
I cramp pretty much everyday and there’s been a couple of times I’ve gone to the bathroom and I’ve spotted a little bit.

  • Apparently so. I have once VERY, VERY lightly, texted my mom in a panic and she said she did, too, when pregnant with me. I've had cramping since implantation, some of it's uterus and some of it's bloating and ever-changing tummy issues lol, sometimes the cramps are hard to tell apart. 7+3 currently.
  • I definitely cramped with implantation, and had lots of random light spotting in the first trimester of my pregnancy. I have lots of friends who have reported the same!! I think it's helpful to talk with your OBGYN, they likely have benchmarks or examples they can give you of when to be concerned.
  • That's very reassuring, thank you. I had spotting start last night, got checked this morning and have a little cramping after the speculum 🙄 other than that haven't had any pain.

Hope all goes well for all.
