Itchy Skin?

My skin is SO itchy!! It gets progressively worse throughout the day. When I get home from work, I can't wear clothes (I walk around in my underwear - thank goodness for farm living lol) and by 8 or 9 pm, I'm in the bath.
It's not just my belly, although that is itchy all day (I'm using tummy butter - I have tried bio oil and apricot oil but I like the tummy butter best).
My skin isn't any more dry than usual (yet) so I don't know if it's another thing to blame on hormones?
Anybody else?

@mitch My skin gets randomly itchy and rashy when pregnant. In the summer I got hives for the first time in my life. 🙄

I've been using the la roche posay serozinc spray. It's got zinc in it which is good for calming thongs down.

I've also got a couple of bad stretch marks where the skin is so fine it got really sore and itchy (it's not been an issue so far this time). I used to put a thin layer of a lanolin nipple balm on them because it really sticks to the skin and was the best for giving the skin a bit of protection.

I'd also mention it to your doctor at your next visit because elevated liver enzymes can also cause itching, but that tends to be more on your hands and feet.
  • Yes! I’ve been itchy for 2 trimesters now as things stretch and grow. Particularly my chest and tummy. I use a coco butter & vitamin E body oil that I can add to the bath and also put on after and then I top it off with Aveeno Eczema therapy nighttime itch relief balm. It’s the only thing that has helped me not be scratching at myself all night and all day. I put it on AM & PM even though it’s labeled as a night balm. It is more of a balm than a cream, so I’m not nuts about the sticky texture, but it’s worth it for the relief.
