Baby kicks making me nauseous

This isn’t necessarily for advice and I feel lucky that baby girl has regular movements but HOLY MOLY she is genuinely rearranging my insides. My son wasn’t this active, but this little girl’s movements give me the worst gas and nausea 😩 anyone else?

Re: Baby kicks making me nauseous

  • FTM so I don't have anything to compare to but this boy is hurting me! When he does these sudden stretches his head feels like it's slamming into my cervix while his feet annihilate my guts and ribs. Not sure if that's worse or when it feels like he flip flops from right to left or something. I don't know what he's doing in there but it has stopped me in my tracks.

  • I understand that pretty well. My first was my daughter and she was so wiggly and gave me waves of nausea and reflux when she got more intense. I threw up a few times during the third trimester even with my nausea meds when she "danced"... It was quite bad. I really didn't like the feeling. This time around, this baby boy doesn't move much (gets kind of scary at times how little he moves to be honest).
  • FTM and not nauseous with kicks, but I got twins at 35 weeks (tomorrow) so nst 2x a week.  It’s so annoying how they won’t move for those at all and immediately before and after they fighting, or playing soccer with my hips, or uneven bars with my ribs… stinkers.  But still taking daily videos of whole tummy movements that nobody finds amusing but me :)
  • Yes! This is baby #4 and the first time I’ve experienced this. Baby is still head up and high in my torso. When he flips and moves a lot it exacerbates my reflux and gives me the worst nausea. I’ve vomited once or twice because of it. Hoping he’ll just go head down and sink lower into my pelvis already!

  • @MrsCaliRN My daughter was really low and she was head down against my cervix since at least week 24 in my first pregnancy, still, I suffered from reflux and nausea everytime she moved a bit too much all third trimester. Hopefully it will help in your case, but it didn't change anything in mine...
  • Oof this sounds miserable. Can't say I've experienced nausea from kicks, but I'm nauseous all the time in general so I can sort of relate? This baby (nr 3) is the most active of mine so far, but his kicks haven't made me nauseous yet!

Soon enough his legs will get stuck in my ribs I'm sure (he's head down), that happened with both my previous pregnancies and it's not pleasant.
