Upcoming Appointments: 10/9 for second appointment

How are you feeling?: I had a few tough weeks with feeling nauseous, but now I'm just mostly feeling fatigued. My appetite is coming back a little finally. I'm looking forward to my next appointment to have everything checked out again and get the NiPT screener. I forgot how long 4 weeks feels in the first trimester.

Rants/Raves: my mood seems to be getting better with the nausea getting better. I was feeling pretty down and anxious but I feel a little more like myself this week!

Questions: no questions, just excited to get to know everyone here!

GTKY: Fondest Childhood Memory
I grew up dancing competitively. I had so much fun going to competitions with my mom and my friends. It's one of my favorite parts about my childhood!

How are you feeling?: Good physically which means I'm often spiraling mentally

sometimes bloated, sometimes sore boobs, sometimes tired but in general I feel pretty normal. I def went through the same anxiety my first pregnancy (was never nauseous) so hopefully the u/s in two weeks will be good news like it was that time. just trying to remember worrying isn't going to help anything!

Rants/Raves: see above! It has been gorgeous where I live the last few days so that's nice haha

How are you feeling?: definitely starting to feel better, tried cleaning this morning while I had a break at work- bad idea I ended up needing a nap!

Rants/Raves: I bled lightly on Friday. Was so stressed but of course I call the OB and they basically say “if it doesn’t get worse that’s great but if it does you’re losing the baby.” It’s crazy how little empathy my office has and of course living in the Midwest there are no other options in my network that are close.

Questions: none at this time

GTKY: Fondest Childhood Memory: I grew up on a farm, and basically all my favorite memories are running around with my sisters being little hooligans all summer!

How are you feeling?: excited, scared and hungry! Almost no morning sickness but lots of fatigue.

The Bump doesn’t seem to have a growth tracking system for twins even tho I love this app I think I need one better suited for twins. Any suggestions?

How are you feeling?: nauseated and tired. Started taking diclectin and B6 to help with the nausea and it does seem to help for most of the day, but I have a period in the late afternoon and evening that is still pretty bad

Rants/Raves: rant - just the nausea honestly. I have a hard time ignoring it. Rave - we've all had colds at our place this week, and my son got a good 13 hr sleep last night which he (and we!) really needed.

Questions: none atm

GTKY: Fondest Childhood Memory: my dad welded two bikes beside each other for my brother and I to ride, and we called it our double bike.

@knottie642157dd6b3e89d0 congrats on the twins fellow Minnesotan! I know it’s not an app for tracking twin growth but would definitely look into the MN moms of multiples Facebook group. I’m sure there would be a lot more twin related help from that group!

How are you feeling?: Tired but overall nausea has gone down, which is a plus!

Rants/Raves: My husband’s work has loaded him up on extra trainings and days that he has to go in on his normal days off. The extra pay will be helpful but I feel like I’m getting really run down with our toddler and minimal time for myself.

Questions: STMs+ has there been a big difference in your fundal height with subsequent pregnancies? I have been able to feel mine since almost 6 weeks, which is crazy different from my first when it was just barely there by around 12 weeks.

GTKY: Fondest Childhood Memory My dad builds houses so my brother, sister, and I would often get to run around half-built houses and play in the dirt piles, sawdust, and with scrap wood pieces.

How are you feeling?: very tried! Started to get more nauseous the past few days. I’ve been eating so many bagels!

Rants/Raves: I’m waking up every night/ early morning to pee! I forgot this happens so early - it gets so much worse later on too haha

I also JUST got dismissed from jury duty this morning for a murder trial - so happy because I was not up for something like that right now!

I'm not sure how to measure fundal height, but I'm showing kind of a lot already and I'm only 9 weeks when I didn't show until about 15-16 weeks with my first.

All of my extended family live in the Caribbean and my parents always made holidays so much fun and full of love even though it was just them and my siblings. I’ve never really had a Christmas with grandparents and cousins but I don’t feel I missed out!

Hoping this doesn’t mean I get way bigger than last time by the end, I already felt massive by the third trimester with my first! Haha

DD / Weeks + Days: had my first ultrasound, was originally told I was 7+5, baby A is measuring at 6+0 as of 10/1, and has a heartbeat of 100 bpm.

There is a second gestational sac, smaller than the other. No fetal pole, no heartbeat…

no idea how to feel or what to think.

Syndrome? Doctors told me the likelihood of this being VTS is high. They don’t expect Baby B to develop any further…but of course, I’ve hit google hard and it’s split down the middle. Many moms say same circumstances it was VTS, the others said due to how early, they went in for the follow up ultrasound and found two babies, two heartbeats. Again, I don’t know how to feel but I feel like either way, I won’t be prepared for the news at my next ultrasound.

DD / Weeks + Days: Well…I thought it was 9w3d but I’m at my first U/S and they’re saying 8w5d 🤷‍♀️

FTM/STM/TTM+: 4TM

Team blue/pink/green: TBD. If baby’s a girl, I’ve got everything I need. If baby’s a boy, I can purge a heck of a lot of girl clothes REALLY quick

Upcoming Appointments: waiting on thr OB now. U/S went good. Good heart beat. They had to do it transvag bc my uterus tilts back but it was fine.

How are you feeling?: TIRED. Physically and mentally. I ended up having a panic attack on Monday morning bc my house is such a wreck and I felt like I’ll never get it back in shape because I’m just too tired to do anything other than feed the kids and get them in bed.

Rants/Raves: I am so dang happy and excited about this pregnancy! The first one was consumed with it all being new, the 2nd was during Covid and the third was plagued with DH’s health problems and some mental health needs on my part. Am I a bit overwhelmed at the prospect of 3 kids plus pregnancy fatigue? Yes but I’m loving it too.

GTKY: Fondest Childhood Memory: I grew up on a river that was dammed into recreational lakes. We didn’t have a boat, but we rented our waterfront property to some retirees and they treated us like an extra set of grandkids - card games, ginger ale in little character Dixie cups and boat rides up and down the river each weekend!

Upcoming Appointments: had viability ultrasound on Tuesday, next appointment to go over bloodwork/etc is next Thursday

How are you feeling?: okay, past couple days have noticed increased sensitivity to smells that turn my stomach and a bit more nauseous after eating but not terrible yet. Boobs are still very sore and LOTS of round ligament pain which seems too early. I sneeze a lot lately too so if becomes quite a problem lol

Rants/Raves: we told family about the pregnancy after my ultrasound Tuesday which was fun. Thinking about sharing with work kimd of early too because we are planning for a lot of things later in the school year when I will be huge/about to head out on maternity leave and I think it just makes more sense to plan with those things in mind

Questions: nothing right now, I don't think

I have a lot of really fond memories of playing outside in my backyard or playing Barbies or Spice Girls with my sister and our neighbors across the street.

@hannahsmom99 I hate to be a downer, but the Ramzi results have been found to be right only 50% of the time, have you looked into SneakPeak or Peekaboo genetic testing? They have a lot of case studies showing high accuracy ratings and are typically a better indicator!
