    So much better the last 2 weeks. Still have waves of nausea but any thing is better than the constant nausea.

    I think I'm feeling flutters!

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets!
    We have a 7yo Australian Labradoodle named Toffee (after the EPL team Everton's nickname). I bullied DH into allowing me to get a puppy when he and our housemates moved out during their grad school clinical rotations leaving me alone in Philly (caramel dood on the right).

    The menace on the left is our 1yo sheepadoodle puppy Yankee. He's named after the baseball team and Yankee Doodle Dandy because his gotcha day was 7/5. He's a terror but he's stinkin cute so we keep him around

    How are you feeling?: Down to occasional nausea, but I’m still looking for this mystical energy I'm supposed to be feeling. I’m still ready for bed before 9.

    Rants/Raves: My sister is complaining that she should get one of our child’s names because she gave her daughter my middle name. She’s one of those mom who wants “tributes to family” in names while I’m the opposite, I want my child to have a name that no one else has. You would think she would’ve mentioned this earlier but now that I picked it that’s when she starts. I’m not bothering to dignify it with a response, but I have to face her eventually. 🙄

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets! 
    No personal pets, but my mom had to put down her dog Friday and we’ve all been pretty broken up about it (part of the reason I’ve been absent). He was a 15 yo Westie, and made everyone love him.

    Upcoming Appointments: October 29 anatomy scan & Oct 30 OB check 

    How are you feeling?: I'm feeling pretty good but I am still always tired. 

    Rants/Raves: I have definitely been feeling kicks for the last couple days! Soooo excited about it. It's my favorite part of this entire pregnancy thing.

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets!  I have two Australian Shepherds. Atlas (red merle) is 3 years old and Maverick (blue merle) is 2 years old. Atlas is the typical calm first child and he was such a good boy I decided to reward him with a little brother... Maverick is an absolute wild child  :D They are the most loving, energetic boys on the planet. Clearly they can't take pictures without a paw on their toys!

    Upcoming Appointments: midwife next week!

    How are you feeling?: I’ve been home sick with a cold this week, and two days ago I missed a step and fell down the stairs and twisted my ankle 🫠 I guess when it rains it pours sometimes. I’m already on the mend!

    Rants/Raves: when will this nausea end?! I actually only felt relief from this nausea when I was sick Mon-Thursday. I thought, “maybe it’s over!” But alas, I feel like I’ve been in the cabin of a boat again today. I am going to give it to 16 weeks before a sick leave because I’m about to lose my mind. 

    Questions: nothing much

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets! We don’t have any at the moment, but I’m living for everyone else’s pups!

    @dunder_mifflin Your nausea journey sounds like my fatigue journey. Just when I feel like I can actually do normal things like put on makeup and play with my kid, then I get another 3 days stuck in bed. I will definitely be bringing it up to the midwife next week. I hope you feel better though.

    Upcoming Appointments: the 14th for anatomy scan! Can’t wait to see baby and make sure everything is still going well!

    How are you feeling?: feeling okay. got sick last night with actual food this time🥲 and I’m still pretty tired but it sounds like I’m not alone there! 

    Rants/Raves: baby is definitely kicking! The past couple days she has been on a rampage!

    GTKY: Tell us about your pets! 
    We have a German shepherd along with a kitty! They’re both about to be 10! I got my German shepherd while living alone and a few months later happened to accidentally get a kitten 😅 that’s a long story but they have been best friends ever since!
