Stiffening of Arms and Legs

Hi, 

My 5 month old recently started stiffening her arms and legs when excited or randomly throughout the day. She will even stiffen her legs while on her back where they just stick straight out. We ruled out that she was having seizure after she had an EEG completed. Her eye contact is really good at times and other times she actively avoids it. Pediatrician said sometimes babies just do weird things lol. Has anyone else’s little one been through this? I’m a ftm and none of my friends babies have gone through this. Any advice or experiences would be great!

    Is she doing this for a long period of time? A couple seconds? 

    Our wee one does it with their legs sometimes, especially when changing a diaper. It only lasts a second or two. Sometimes, it happens with the whole body and a sour face — and a poop or big pee often comes soon afterward.
