Spotting second trimester

Randomly spotting in second trimester.i say random because it could happen once a day and sometimes not at all. Never had this in first trimester. This is my first pregnancy. No other symptoms and only when I’m using the restroom and wipe. Has anyone had this before?
I am just into my 16th week and due March 3rd with a baby girl

    No personal experience but my understanding is that small amounts of spotting here and there throughout pregnancy is normal. However if you are cramping, filling a liner or other symptoms along with it then I would call your OB. 

    Never wrong to call your OB and ask either way though, just for peace of mind! Maybe they will have you come in for an extra ultrasound!

    Yes! I did have an extra ultrasound last week. Everything was normal and it has been more sporadic and no other symptoms. It’s never on liner just when I wipe. Just can be weird to see. I called again today and waiting to hear back but so far said it can just be my body adjusting! Thanks so much for input I appreciate it

    Sometimes I get a little spotting after a rough bowel movement! I had spotting a couple times now in my 2nd pregnancy and also had it with my first! Just make sure to tell your OB, I have a negative blood type so I had to get an early rhogam shot from the spotting

    I had brown discharge this morning, just when I wiped. The on call nurse was not concerned.  I had two subchorionic hematomas that finally just healed last week. So I thought I was done with spotting. My husband and I finally had sex after 9 weeks of abstaining. She thinks it’s from that. But now I am a nervous wreck.

    In my last pregnancy, I would spot after sex. It does not seem to be an issue with this pregnancy, though.
