Timing/CS: Had a monitoring visit today and the US tech said they’ll probably have me trigger today or tomorrow, but still waiting for the official instructions

How are things going? Any questions?: Good. Hoping I trigger today because that will mean the transfer will be next Monday and Mondays just work better for our schedule than Tuesdays. I’m really worried, though, that the embryo won’t survive the thaw. We already had one not survive and one only partially survive, so I’m really worried about this last one. If it doesn’t work out, we can be rematched with more embryos, so it’s not our last chance, but I don’t want to have to wait any longer.

R/R: Finally getting some cooler weather around here, woo!

Edit: I triggered today. They actually called me at 3 and said I could trigger right after the phone call. And my FET is scheduled for Sunday, which I wasn’t expecting since I didn’t know they even did transfers on the weekends. But that’s actually even more convenient for my schedule than Monday, so yay!

Timing/CS: I started LH testing again but just realized one of my boxes of strips is expired, so I might have missed the surge using those strips. I'll switch to a newer box tomorrow. It is tiring that all the thinking and tracking and worrying about getting pregnant is all on me and not at all affecting my partner. Like, I don't want him to be stressed but it would be nice to offload some of the mental chores, you know?

How are things going? Any questions?: None

    R/R: None this week
  • @britters314 love when things end up working out schedule-wise 🙌 Cheering you on this weekend!

WAYDTGKU (BD/TI/IVF/FET/Benched/etc.): Benched for more IF/RPL testing

How are things going? Any questions?: My virtual consult last week went great.  He asked a lot of questions and we have a testing plan I feel encouraged about that is tailored to our history and the testing we’ve already completed previously.  I happened to have a F/U appt with the OBGYN yesterday and was able to do cultures there, then had blood drawn today, and see a specialist in a few weeks who should be able to do another endometrial biopsy.

R/R: The bench is so stressful to me esp when O is completely thrown off 🫠

  • @britters314 Thinking of you today! Fingers and toes are crossed for this embryo 💛

@ferret22 I totally feel you on the mental burden of TTC, completely unfair that I’m over here with thermometers and charts and supplements and now juggling IVF appointments sometimes multiple times a week—meanwhile we’ve been together 5 years, I have a consistent cycle, and he’s still blissfully unaware of when fertile week even is or shocked to discover that yes, my period has indeed come again after 4 weeks away 🙄

@virginiaham So glad to hear the consult went so well! Sounds like he really heard the particulars of your case and is treating it with all the individualized care you deserve.

  • @britters314 hoping all went well today and hoping hoping with you!

AFM, I finally had a +OPK on CD23 and we’ve avoided so that’s a stress off of me.  The Dr has already found elevated NK cells and we’re waiting for another test to come back ahead of starting treatment.  The NK cells was a hard one for me to swallow 😭 but we have a plan.

  • @aisleofviewtwo @virginiaham Thanks! The transfer went well today, embryo looked good and my lining looked good so now I’m just praying for a successful implantation!
