    Baby is the size of a (an): jar of Nutella!

    Team blue/pink/green: 💙

    Upcoming Appointments: October 8

    How are you feeling?: Drained.  Utterly drained.  To a frankly alarming degree.  Probably need to talk to someone about it.

    Rants/Raves: I got my car back!  And didn't have to pay for the repair!

    Questions: I'm still going back and forth over going to genetics.  Now it's a question about money.  I hate having to even consider it, but first trimester screening was normal, and I got two unexpected medical bills.

    GTKY: What is one thing you know today that would have blown your mind (in a good way) 15 years ago?
    There are planets beyond Pluto in our solar system (Justice for Pluto LOL)!

    @fininevermore I think I missed something. Why are you considering additional genetics testing after a low risk NIPT?

    Baby is the size of a (an): Dill pickle

    Team blue/pink/green: Blue

    Upcoming Appointments: Oct 23 anatomy scan, Oct 29 OB

    How are you feeling?: still nauseous! I thought this would have subsided by now. At least my energy levels are bouncing back. 

    Rants/Raves: Rants: My ob said 4 weeks for next appt (standard) but make sure it’s after my anatomy scan. So, it’s actually 7 weeks and I really like the reassurance of the monthly Doppler 😩
    Raves: our swingset for our toddler was put together today. He is going to be so excited! 

    Questions: Natm

    Baby is the size of a (an): 🍋 

    Team blue/pink/green: 💕

    Upcoming Appointments: just had my 12/13 week ultrasound on Monday! She was dancing up a storm and morning so much. 

    How are you feeling?: still so nauseous and tired! And it’s constant, no matter what I do. 

    Rants/Raves: It was just so lovely to see baby girl moving so much! We are so excited now.
    And we finally settled on a car! More on that in September Randoms 

    Questions: not many these days!

    GTKY: What is one thing you know today that would have blown your mind (in a good way) 15 years ago? I feel like the answer to this is everything, and nothing specific 🤣 I wouldn’t believe Uber Eats could deliver restaurant food (or let’s be real, a McFlurry) to my door, or that I can easily order my groceries online. Both have been a wonderful development in my life, lol.

    @laj0217 I’m also still nauseous!!! I’m glad your energy is bouncing back and I’m hopeful mine will, also. If not, I’m going on temp Medical leave after seeing my midwives early October. I just can’t work like this. I’m so behind now :( 

    Sending all the love for the nausea. I hope that also subsides.

    @fininevermore your “justice for Pluto” made me chuckle!!! 

    I, too, am utterly drained. I can’t do anything unless I have a whole day off to do 2 tasks. Like I’m pooped! I may discuss with my midwives in October

    Upcoming Appointments: October 8 - OB, Oct 28 Anatomy Scan 

    How are you feeling?:  energy is much better but my body aches all over the place. Everyday is a new ache. I’m guessing it’s due to my body growing and stretching for baby boy. 

    Rants/Raves: we had a small gender reveal party over the weekend that went wonderfully. I already knew it was a boy due to NIPT but husband was surprised. I looked at the results he didn’t because he wanted to be surprised and thought for sure it was a girl. I’m glad I didn’t give it away and actually kept the secret 😂🥳

    Questions: Any trips for traveling while pregnant? I’ll be going on a cruise next week and am a little nervous about flying and then the trip itself although I am excited to have a much needed vacation. 

    GTKY: What is one thing you know today that would have blown your mind (in a good way) 15 years ago? Just how much we can do on our phones. These things can do any and everything it’s crazy having all this access in the palm of your hand (although I don’t think this is always a good thing lol)

    Upcoming Appointments: 10/14 16 week scan

    How are you feeling?: more auseous and tired than the first tri.

    Rants/Raves: I had an appt yesterday and the spinal fluid measured big so now there's a concern for genetic defects. I'm nervous.

    Questions: has anyone else had the baby's spinal fluid measured high and it resolved itself?

    Upcoming Appointments: October 14th for the anatomy scan!!! 

    How are you feeling?: I had a burst of energy for a couple weeks but starting to feel tired again. I should be better about eating too so that’s probably it 🥲

    Rants/Raves: no raves this week. still haven’t had any luck with getting my husband to talk about names 🙃 he just thinks I don’t like his names out of spite now or something. 

    Questions: natm

    How are you feeling?: I have more energy during the day but by the time I get home from work I am absolutely exhausted 😴 

    Rants/Raves: just had my 16wk appointment. I have been an absolute nervous wreck with the fear that she isn’t growing (There is nothing to indicate that, 8wk & 12wk ultrasound plus NIPT test have all been normal). I got to hear the heart beat again.🥰  It was so reassuring and calmed my nerves

    Upcoming Appointments: 10/7 regular OB appt

    How are you feeling?: better! About the middle of last week my first tri symptoms really decreased and now I've only been having partial bad days 

    Rants/Raves: we're currently headed back from VA Beach area (trip with MIL, BIL and SIL's extended family). It was great because my kids got lots of time with their cousins and I got to see my BFF whose husband is currently stationed there. But I'm ready to be home

    Questions: we have a van which is our primary family car. My husband drives a small SUV, 2015 I think. We're not ready to replace it but does anyone have a small-midsize SUV with 3 across in carseats (probably will be high back booster, harness booster and RF when we're ready)

    GTKY: What is one thing you know today that would have blown your mind (in a good way) 15 years ago? 15 years ago I was 20 and approaching grad school. Probably that I'm living as close to my dream life as possible (married to HS sweetheart, 2 kids +1 on the way, love my job)

    @ttbird29 just make sure to take things to keep you comfortable! We just went away and I made sure to take my own pillow, snacks/mints for nausea. 

    @paigemm23 we also haven't discussed names (or anything baby related) due to DH's hesitancy. While I know we have time I like to plan!

    @paigemm23 Eating is so hard lol 🤣 Sometimes I start and then the food tastes awful. Or I start to feel nauseous.

    @ksd20, yes! I just want to have a plan! Just have a short list of names picked so I can sit with them about before baby is here. He’s the type of person that packs the morning of a flight though so not sure why I’m so surprised by this haha 😂 

    @leylea89, everything disgusts me! Everyday around 4:30 my appetite just disappears and I can’t get myself to eat anything until closer to 8 when I force myself to eat plain pasta hahaha
