How are you feeling?: Pretty good. I had more energy this weekend but I also had a mild headache Saturday and Sunday so I still felt like I had to push myself a little bit. Also, not sure if this is pregnancy related but my left arm is sore. It started out yesterday feeling like the pins and needles after "falling asleep" but my arm never fell asleep. Now it's just sore. Maybe a circulation problem?
Rants/Raves: Rant - I had my 1 hour glucose test on Friday. I saw the results on Saturday and I didn't pass. I haven't talked to the doctors office yet but I know I'm going to have to do the 3 hour one now.

GTKY: Which family member has had the greatest impact on you? My dad's aunt. She never had kids. But she loved my dad and then my brother and me like we were her's. We spent a lot of time with my dad's side of the family and she would always focus on us. Plus she made the best food. She was always cooking or baking something when we were there. My daughter's middle name is her name.
How are you feeling?: pretty good, just more and more uncomfortable. Also more and more kicks from our little boys which is amazing!

GTKY: Which family member has had the greatest impact on you?
Definitely my parents. We’ve always been close and I’m so thankful for the memories and life with our family growing up. Honestly, I hope to parent really similarly to how they did. Thankful for them and the sacrifices they made for our family!
How are you feeling?: starting to get a little bit of energy back it feels like! Finally. But also pregnancy induced carpel tunnel has taken over my hands and it is absolutely awful. @kamays54 what you are describing kind of sounds like the beginning of it, I hope it doesn't get worse for you.
Rants/Raves: at night I dont feel like eating but in the morning I'm SO hungry
Questions: natm
GTKY: Which family member has had the greatest impact on you? Probably my maternal grandmother. I didnt realize it when I was younger but now that I look back I am in awe of her. I'm glad she met my first born before she passed, but wish she was still here.
@kmtz89 thanks! It's better today. Almost completely gone but I'm going to pay attention to it and see if there is something I do that might have caused it. I do tend to lean on that side when I'm sitting on the couch but I don't feel like I did anything different that would have caused it.
How are you feeling?: Overall good! My exhaustion got better for a little while but then yesterday I had to sleep for my lunch hour instead of lunch! So weird!
Rants/Raves: I am finally really feeling consistent kicking which is really great and at the same time totally stressful - it’s like a whole new thing to worry about! Yay!
Questions: none
GTKY: Which family member has had the greatest impact on you?
Gosh, tough question since I am lucky to have an amazing family. Probably my mom, she’s the best and I honestly don’t know how she does it even at 68 years old. She’s a machine.
How are you feeling?: stressed, but not due to pregnancy (exclusively). I’ve had one of the most difficult work weeks I’ve had in months and I still have 2 days to go. The stress is making the acid reflux worse and it’s just a vicious cycle.

GTKY: Which family member has had the greatest impact on you? My older sister. She is 8 years my senior and has been a much more stable female figure in my life than my mom. I admire her so much, as a teacher and amazing mother to 2 girls.
FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM Baby is the size of a (an): grapefruit Team blue/pink/green: blue
Upcoming Appointments: OB check up Oct 7th How are you feeling?: feeling good physically!! Definitely a little more emotional than usual recently though
Rants/Raves: we came home from our baby moon in aruba two days ago, and the trip was so special... but the final morning right before we packed up, I was standing on the balcony looking out at the ocean and just started crying hysterically. I'm beyond excited and grateful that we are becoming parents, but I was realizing that this was our last trip to aruba where it's just the two of us. We have gone every year since we met and have so many great memories there... I just got sad realizing that it was the last trip where we got to just be selfish and do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. I feel selfish even writing about it. I cannot wait to be a mom and am so excited to raise our baby together and make a million new memories with him... but it felt like the end of a really beautiful and carefree chapter for me and my partner.
On a lighter note, I feel baby boy tossing and turning every day now and I love it so much. The constant reassurance that he's doing okay has my heart feeling much lighter
Questions: None at the moment
GTKY: Which family member has had the greatest impact on you? My mom 🥺 I could go on and on and on about her, but I will just say that she is the strongest woman I know and I look up to her daily. I don't know what I would do without her advice or her love.
Upcoming Appointments: October 10 with my new physicians OB/GYN group affiliated w/ the hospital I want to deliver at in the new city we moved to. took forever to get in, but I eventually did! It will be a routine prenatal check-in, but they said to come in fasting in case they can walk me over to the lab and get tested for gd. Hoping I can start seeing a MFM doctor as well for upcoming ultrasounds due to AMA.
How are you feeling?: Feel like a weight lifted off my shoulder with a bunch of huge life transition things that we and I moved through recently. We just closed on our new home yesterday, I finally got my civilian doctor and hospital approved so I can continue prenatal care w/ who and where I want in our new location, and we are starting to settle into the new city after moving out of Hawai'i a little over a month ago (w/ a 10 day layover in Atlanta). Phew - lots of moving, but am able to breathe a little bit now.
Rants/Raves: Starting to settle into the new city! Now with closing on the home, our furniture will be arriving over the next 2 months, just in time before I hit 36 weeks. Hoping we can get the new home in a decent place by end of November, so I can take the last month to breathe and just in case I deliver early (as early as 36 weeks I was told due to my age). Hopefully I can carry full term, but releasing expectations and trying not to stress too much over everything going on at once!
Questions: Are you having a baby shower? I FINALLY finished my registry (haha) and just started sending it out. My friends are planning a shower where close friends are flying into the D.C. area, but my cousin and I chatted about a separate virtual one for family since everyone is spread out, so I may have 2 showers.
GTKY: Which family member has had the greatest impact on you? Very hard, there's been a lot. But probably my Dad, which seems different from most since he's a male. He really instilled a lot principles and values that I hold in high regard and he taught with positive role modeling. Our son's first name will be named after him (and my grandfather).
How are you feeling?: pretty good, but I’ve started getting a muscle knot/cramp in my glute while I sleep and it’s so uncomfortable! I probably just need to roll it out.
Rants/Raves: @fk18 my work is also stressful and I’m very salty about it! all I want to do is work on autopilot while prepping for baby and I’m annoyed that I actually have to put effort in 😂
Questions: none atm
GTKY: Which family member has had the greatest impact on you? This is hard. Probably my mom! She instilled in me a love of nature and getting outside, museums, and reading. Her parents impacted me in this way too - it’s a family thing.
@peacefuladventures for my first we had a Google meeting set up for anyone that wanted to join that couldn't make it in person. My 3 best friends, my aunt, and my husband's uncle all joined as they live out of state. I will probably do the same thing this time especially because my parents aren't going to be here this time. They didn't stay on the whole time. It was mostly just during opening presents and I chatted with them for a little bit before. It was really nice to have them be a part of it.
@strongishmom, why can’t our work get it together and pay us to relax and prepare for baby instead of stress? 🙃. Can you tell I’m also salty? I’m SO READY FOR THE WEEKEND
@strongishmom and whoever mentioned the muscle cramps before, I got one in my calf this morning so bad. I was half asleep and stretched. OMG it was so painful and it wouldn't go away. It was on and off for a good 10-15 mins but it felt like so much longer. I was still so tired so I didn't want to get out of bed so I tried to stretch it out and I tried to use my hand and foot to rub it out but nothing was working. It finally worked itself out thankfully.
@kamays54 that was me with the calf cramp (Charlie horse)!!! Waking up to that was one of the worst pains ever. Somehow I’ve avoided them since that one night, and have been religious about stretching ever since. My doc said magnesium helps also!
